| Bryan has found his level. He doesn't have a position and most certainly isnt SL standard.

| Sorry - my bad!
For the record, I'm pleased Wheeldon has a contract for 2013. Earlier in the year, I wouldn't have been.
Now, how about releasing a back or two on to find space for a world-class right centre?

| We have 20 players out of the 'top 25' under contract for next year.
Dorn, Colbon, O'Callaghan, Howell, Robertson, Witt, Gower, Kaufusi, Randall, Bryant, Rodney, Bailey, Clubb, Rinaldi, Melling, Krasniqi,Sarginson, Cook, Dixon, Wheeldon.
With Shane Grady presumably to be a top 25 players that takes us up to 21 players.
That leaves four places left.
The out-of-contract players like Temata, Golden, Bryan, B Bolger or Caro could take one of these spots.
Alternatively an upgrade for R Thomas, S Bolger, McMeeken, Lovell, Channing, O Thomas, Bishay or Dollapi could also fill a slot.
At best we might get four new signings to add to Grady.
My info is a little dated but I understood Craig Hall and Andrew Dixon were out of contract plus some good players from Catalans and they'd be who I would look at.
Cheers
Mark

| How many slots do we have for Aussies? I suspect TR will be looking there whilst on his post season leave!

| Ah, OK, cheers Mark. Thought it was top 20 not top 25.
We may have 4 spots open then but probably only the salary cap £££ for one major signing - and he won't be overseas.

| Quote: The Daddy "Didn't Powell win his first three also and we were top of the league and everyone on here was hailing him as the messiah.'"
He wasn't then nor was he ever a messiah. Unfortunately, he was a man appointed to the role that was out of his depth. That's not his fault that lays with the man that appointed him.
Tony Rea has managed more in a few weeks than Rob Powell ever was able to do with a set of players not of Rea's choosing it has to be said.
The fanciful thoughts of some who think a top grade NRL coach would ever take on this job, are just that.
As others have said on here there was no reason that the Bronco's this season shouldn't have been fighting it out for a play-off place, had Rea been appointed sooner. David Hughes loyalty to Rob Powell is to be commended but it may have been allowed to go just a little to far. In a short time with a few tweeks to players, positions and their gameday attitude Tony Rea has managed to get the players from performing as nailed on for the wooden spoon to a chance of finishing 12th. After what's gone on before that is progress albeit not a lot, but progress never the less.
I for one am an admirer of that small achievement. Clearly the real test will come in 2013-14 season. I for one can't wait to get rid of this wasted one and start the new one. Keep the faith.

| Tony Currie - Now there was a motivator. We would have been in the playoffs for sure this season.

It would certainly make life interesting, given the tales surrounding his earlier tenure with the club.
