"I know you have received e-mails from a number of supporters regarding the team's appalling results over the last 2+ seasons so I'm not going to add fuel to that particular fire here but I just wanted to communicate my embarrassment at reading Rob Powell's statement that the game vs. Widnes is a "huge game" because of our respective positions in the table. This suggests that finishing above Widnes would be regarded as a success which is beyond belief. This season is a disaster, nothing less, and to suggest that this game is more important because we have a chance to move off the bottom of the table is an insult to our intelligence. I implore you to consider the consequences every time Rob Powell speaks publicly because the current position is a joke…an extremely bad one at that"

Oo err, I was enjoyng myself 'til I read Billericay Quins post. Talk about how to spoil a party, BQ...it was much more fun musing about all things potato and the like.

Yes it will be pleasing to see a win but just as before it will onlly be due to the fact that the
opposition are about as much cop as we are under our illustrious coach.
It will also guarantee that RP remains for the rest of the season,although I think we knew that
anyway. Still hopefully by next season, this mid seasons "review" will have been completed and
everything will be oh so different and we will be so successful that we will be wondering what all
the fuss of the last season and a half has been about.
