Happened before there in January I believe. The game went ahead after the costs were split....

If they do play it behind closed doors, I would expect a few swindon "fans" will make the trip anyway.......if they want trouble, the soccer match is secondary anyway

My favourite memory of attending a game at Priestfield was when I was 16 and I paid £1 to get in to watch them against Chesterfield, me, 3 mates and about 15 others were in the Away section, as we all hate Gillingham and one of our mates had a vague connection to the Spireites.

Anyone who knows Gillingham knows that the away section consists of half, maybed a third, of the temporary stand behind the goal, the Brian Moore Stand I think, and as it was a quid to get in, the home section of the stand was full of Medways finest on their summer day out. Spent 90 minutes winding them up, including 1 youth who had the misfortune of having a massive nose. He got ejected after 60 minutes, the abuse became too much for him and he attempted to clamber over the divide. There was a waiting party of about 20 lads outside absolutely spewing. Would love to say we had a ruck and came out on top but realistically we ducked down an alleyway and got chased off.

This Hull match is almost full circle for me as I expect their supporters to be up to a similar standard to the Gillingham regulars. They will be right at home that's for sure.

well come to think of it maybe not every door in Leyton but two separate posters here - www.totalrl.com/forums/index.php ... e__st__220 have had them through their doors so unless it's a massive coincidence they dropped them through the doors of the two internet message boarding RL fans in Leyton and nobody else they must have covered a fair area WARNING - dont bother reading the whole thread on totalrl - it's basically person A "bah gum lad,a team from that there London in Super League?No bloody way.When I were a lad..." person B "well London is a vital part of RL's strategic plan and....." person A "I'm not listening to you. Speaking of the O`s fixture I see the Super Broncos season ticket holders are being advised to return there
West Stand tickets to the Club by post or on matchday in order that they can be given the correct tickets
for The Gallery Stand. Thats if I have read todays e mail from the club correctly.

Believe it or not, the last few Orient home games have also had a full page mention of the game, its mad, they are trying, not sure who is behind this, O's or broncos, but good to see, Orient tried leaflets before to encourage locals out for football etc, though never really worked, as most locals actually support Real Madrid/Barcelona or Legia Warsaw or Brazil.

Oh for the day when we do not have a landlord who banishes from the ground for a month! life would be so much easier, does not seem to happen at the DW Stadium!

And it isn't happening at The Stoop. Have you not been listening? We've voluntarily taken the games to Leyton and Gillingham. Gus Mackay said as much on several occasions.

Then it is foolish to take two home games on the row on the road, so quickly after the magic? weekend leaving a month away from the stoop.
