| Everyone just has to keep a grip on reality. Next week is likely to be a thumping. The week after that Broncos should put Widnes to the sword.
After 5 games, my early optimism has been tempered. This remains a bottom-five side. Better than last year, and should be vying for 9th or 10th place as the best of the bottom five above Wakey, Cas, Widnes and Salford. But very difficult to see where any other wins will come from apart from the occasional shock against an off-form better side.
The forwards are ok. They could match all bottom and most mid-table sides. But the threequarters are very weak, and while Gower shows flashes of why he was the Kangaroo half, but there's nothing else there to worry most sides.

| Can't agree that we going to be a "bottom 5 side" again. It was just like we may have gelled together as a team at last today; so for at least this weekend I will only see the positives on us tonking them. I won't even start wingeing about how one sided Bentham was against us an so many occasions today...

Nuts.
We lose 4 games on the trot, and it's the end of the world, sack the coach, sack the players, it's all a disaster.
We win one game against a really poor team, on a poor run of form, who lost one of their two main playmakers half way through the game, and now it's bring on Wigan, and anyone who suggests we're not actually great is talking .
Are Broncos' fans bipolar ?

| Having watched the match, I still can't understand how we managed to score so many. Error-riddled performance - just a few examples "We were poor at best today and we have a lot of work to do before we play again."'" That was how I saw it too.
However, 8 tries can't be bad, so we got a few things right. Forwards made a lot of ground, especially Bryant, halves played well - Gower looked like an international s-h, albeit an ageing and slowish one. I thought Clubby looked tentative - that damage to his jaw may have dented his confidence. Sarginson did well for a guy who hasn't played for 6 months.
Well done fellas - a convincing win in the end.

Really? He put his hand up constantly, and was playing with his heart on his sleeve, he was my MoM. Took the ball in hard, and tackled hard. And obviously, he was playing at prop, this is a guy that started for us at centre, has played wing, second row, loose forward, and now he's playing as a prop.
For someone who just dislocated his jaw, coming back and starting as a prop, with his other starting prop going off prematurely, he played excellently.

| Tim are you serious? I hope Clubb was carrying an injury today as that was his worst performance of the season. He is 2 stone overweight and has to sort it out.
Howell man of the match, closely followed by Gower. Also pleased with Karl.

Lol. I see, decided it's time to try playing the man because the ball didn't bounce your way ?
Let's see. Lister's views : McDermott was a great coach. Howells is a magnificent centre. I'm the worst poster here.
Got to hand it to you - you're consistent. Consistently wrong. Good effort.

| Oh dear, let yourself down there Roy. A nice chomp. The funniest thing is your use of 'lol' as a grown adult. Cringing for you here! Please, post your 800 word drivel on the Saints forum, it hurts my eyes and offends my brain on here.

You're opinion. And yes I am serious, not everyone feels the need to troll with each post they write.

Clubb was 2, sometimes 3 tackles behind on kick returns. He is very unfit. Would be very interested to see his statistics today. Like I said, been one of our best players before today but looked well off the pace today.
