| Have to agree too. Never much cared for the Broncos as a name first time around. If we had to rebrand, surely a new name rather than a failed name would have been better.
Had high hopes for the kit, but there is nothing distinctive about it.
Had an e-mail from the club, which is in a bizarre shade of gray. Hardly inspiring.
Altogether completely underwhelming and a total anti-climax

| Sorry PP and DL, I can`t relate to all the doom and gloom comments. Like it or not the Quins brand did not work for us , probably for a multitude of reasons that we know little about………would have been great had it worked but that is now history and you need to put it behind you.
I have no strong feelings towards the London Broncos name (it`s as good as any), but if that is what the main man wants who has pumped millions of pounds into this club over the years, then he is more than entitled to have his way. The kits a bit plain at present, but at least I will be able to travel to the match without looking like a TV test card.
Ever since I can remember there has been a constant complaint on this site that we do not market the club, whether you like it or not the re-launch seems to be kick starting the marketing process and at least DH, Gus and team seem to be putting the effort in. Ok the web site still needs work but is the re-launch really the disaster you make it out to be?
What was the alternative, we sit forever in the shadow of Quins RU, struggle to be recognised and fail to attract new investment/sponsorship until we quietly slip away?
No point in clinging onto what might have been, we have been terrible on the pitch for the past few seasons and I for one am looking forward to a promising 2012 season with what looks like the strongest side we had for many a year.

| Good 10 min feature on the rebrand on Talk Sport at lunchtime with H&J and Offiah. Im delighted with the change. I dont understand how any RL fan could have been happy sharing a name with a union club.

Very true. But of course, we had that already.
On balance, I prefer being "London" again; just a shame we've regained the awful "Broncos" appendage, and it's back to playing in a ground plastered with someone else's name and someone else's colours.
Plain and nondescript is my personal verdict on the new kit. We couldn't really have picked anything less exciting if we'd tried, although no doubt a specialist marketing company has been paid handsomely to come up with this. I can only assume it's been done with the express intention of denying Paddock any loud fashion accessory opportunities.
Seeing as we're going "back to the future" with the name I'd have preferred all black with a white/red chevron (i.e. the original Fulham kit), which wouldn't really have been a million miles away from what we've got (principally black) but would look a lot more distinctive. Not to worry though, as no doubt both kits will be changed on an annual basis anyway, as per the norm with all Superleague rugby clubs these days.
The most important thing so far is that we seem to have significantly strengthened the squad, but that doesn't seem to have been given any importance alongside all the cosmetic changes. The most important thing in the future is that we can continue long term without David Hughes' largesse.
Quote: east stander "My interest in this club is significantly waning because of how it is being run. Chop and change. False dawns and false promises. '" ]
Pretty much sums up my own feelings. Basically, we've heard it all before. If it all takes a turn for the better this time, it'll be despite all this "rebranding", not because of it. The more times we change our identity, the weaker the identity becomes. No more season tickets for me. I'll be going to the international double header at Wembley next Saturday, but for the club that regenerates more often than Doctor Who it'll just be the occasional visit from now on if I've got nothing else to do. I like the game, but my attachment to this particular club has receded rapidly over the last couple of seasons.

| And they say that we're not proper RL fans, there is some world class whinging going on on this thread that matches anything the Northern fans can come up with.

1649_1338292262.jpg I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg |

| We will always know who the professional whiners! are here, they are Never going to change, so its no use worrying about it, we have to make this fresh start, the past is now the past, we all know that in these next three seasons we have to make it work, if it does not this timem is there going to be a future?
So I just Hope that the majority of us will get behind the club, going to a shirt provider not being in rugby league perhaps we should not have accepted anything special, but with sponsors names on it may change it, St Helens have a total of one major Typhoo and Five others on their new shirt, arms, collar and two on .
The season ticket offer is good, the Cowgirls, the mascots, lets get behind it and give it a chance, we seem to have some Good Players.

Am looking forward to buying my first new shirt since the last Broncos one - but I'm going to wait and see who the sponsor is, don't want to wear a shirt with a dodgy sponsors name on it.

| Decent looking kit. Yes, it looks plain but like previous years the club will be working (hopefully) towards getting at least 2 or 3 sponsors on the shirt. However, it doesn't really look like a Rugby League shirt, I don't really know why but it doesn't.
How people can moan about the on the pitch stuff months after a game has been played and months before the next one is scheduled is beyond me. If anything, the quality of the signings on paper for 2012 is far better than in previous years.
Gower has masses of experience, has won an NRL trophy and is an experienced head in a notoriously young side. Robertson and Rodney will be riding the crest of a wave after winning the NRL last month and have something about them if they were both played in the Grand Final. Michael Witt made the Crusaders tick and scored near enough 175 points in 40 games for them in two years. Antonio Kaufasi has been part of two Grand Final appearing Melbourne sides, Rinaldi is returning to London, Colbon and Cook are still a good age and well, Hickey will keep Greggs' across London running.
Compare those signings with the likes of Ryan Esders, Ben Kaye, Matt Gardner, Mick Nanyn, David Tootill and Joe Walsh's of the past few years and the on the pitch side of things looks more positive than ever.

Dump a couple of sponsors on there and it will.
