3) None of my ancestors went to Australia, they stayed here. That's why I was born in England and not Australia. Hence none of them actually raped, murdered, or mistreated the aboriginal people. So how could I be held accountable for the actions of other people (like your good self) who do have ancestors that went to Australia and raped, murdered, and mistreated the aboriginals?

Erm, I'm pretty sure that would all be stuff people whose descendants are you Aussies did, not ours. I suppose all the forced adoptions, stealing aboriginal children, in the 20th century are the Brits fault too are they? Or maybe the "white Australia" immigration policy that continued through to the '70s? Backwaters often have attitudes that lag behind modern times...

Getting away from all these insults the NRL armies idea sounds good but when you think about it we do most of that stuff already on here. We have clubbed together to make flags and used to sponsor players, discuss where to meet and how to get to away games. I don't think this forum has had a social event that wasn't organised by the club though, but really this forum is like a supporters club in the sense of supporting the team, its just not officially recognised.
It's a tough question of what role we want the new supporters club to play but I think it's a good idea forming one and seeing what can happen with it

2. Yes calling someone from Australia a 'convict' is racist. Calling anyone, anything based on nothing else except where they were born is racist. The word 'Pom' could be taken in a racist matter if you wanted, then so could the world 'Aussie' if you want to go down that path.

3. My ancestry dates back to England and Scotland, my family traveled over the to 'new world' as free human beings. Wrongfully thinking my family has a criminal past because i now live in Australia has lead to your comments. My family has never rape, murdered or mistreated Aboriginals. In fact, how do you know I am not Aboriginal myself? How do you know I am not of Pakistani decent and was born as an Australia or any other nationality for that instance?

For you to blame crimes committed by convicts on me, is the same as blaming the invasion of Australia by the British on you. While our families may not have been apart of it, your attitude of 'you are from there, it's your fault' is disgusting and that is why i used that example.

None of my ancestors moved to Australia. Therefore none of my ancestors did any of those things to the aboriginals. Your ancestors did move to Australia. Maybe they committed those atrocities, maybe they turned a blind eye to them, maybe they had no idea they were going on. But the fact is they colonised Australia. Your family, not mine. It's not that hard to understand.
