Well if the club has not even offered Ellis a contract there has to be serious questions asked. This is not a good sign for how we sit off the field as an organisation, the only worse situation is if we didn't offer him anything because we knew there was no money in the pot for him.

The truth is worse than you could imagine. "A. Player" who shall remain nameless! was already looking for a house to live in next year when the proverbial rug was pulled, begging the question; When does a contract offer become an "official" offer? Answer: when negotiations with A.N. Other player were concluded. Read into it what you will the club have not shown themselves to be entirely honest in their dealings but, hey, this is professional sport.

Mmmmmm....If "Team Randall" has this much input/involvement on the shaping of the squad then perhaps he should dip into his pocket and relieve DH of some of the financial burden of financing the club? I suspect he'll be nominated as captain as well next season after Purds goes. Perhaps the new name has already been decided...........Randalls Renegades or Chads chosen ones.

So it would appear that Quins (or whatever) in their infinite wisdom have decided to release the two players that I (and a number of others) would like them to have kept. That's the way to build for the future after a lamentably poor campaign in which they have amply demonstrated that they are not fit to belong in SL.

Is there any appetite on here for some sort of protest (or demonstration of our frustration, if you prefer) at the next home game (If we haven't seen any improvement on the comms / signings front by then)?

Sounds a good idea, but what? maybe we could do a Poznan and face away from the play all the game, at least I will go home in a better mood!

I don't know, I'm just spitballing really. But I want the club to know how unhappy we all are with current events, I don't want them to get away with what usually happens at home games, i.e. we lose, the atmosphere is funereal, we politely clap the players off then retire to the bar and shrug our shoulders. The way this club is being run at the moment is pretty appalling (we shouldn't be finding out about player departures via twitter) and I think we should let Mackay, Powell, Randall et al know that.

Off the top of my headl I can think of two approaches, not mutually exclusive - a stunt at the next home game largely for the benefit of the press and the fans who don't know what is going on and an email campaign to the club letting them know what we think. I am sure we could embarrass the club big time if our actions got on twitter/facebook etc.
