| Vintage Karl Pryce. Receives ball all on his own... and steps into touch.

| Why shocking? Dragons are 4th and we are bottom, you should have mullered us! Huds beat KR with about the same score so why say we are shocking?

One assumes we were putting in 100% effort, while Catalans were putting in 60% and messing around, which probably explains favourable performances in parts against Warrington, and to a lesser extent Wigan.

Personally I assume both teams were putting in similar amounts of effort in all three of those games, but on each occasion our opponents were a much stronger team than us with better players.

I haven't seen tonights game so can't comment, but you surely can't say that Warrington didn't "ease up" in the second half against us at The Stoop. They were playing silly rugby that you wouldn't see them playing against a top team like Wigan or St Helens.

Shocking because at times they couldn't pass a ball, tackle, run an angle you know, the basics. For professional top division rugby league players not to be able to do that is in my opinion shocking.
I'm a Wigan fan.

| Poor poor performance, first try was unforgivable!
Too much dropped ball, and compounded by losing the ball in first or second tackle! defense same as all year was week especially close to the line.
simple things like a 20 mtr restart being unable to take it quick as we could not be bothered to get on side!!
first 20 mins the lads were still sat on the bus
I dont think the announcement of the next franchise has helped!! what are we playing for? obviously not pride! I get the feeling that in effect the season is finished as far as the club are concerned
A few decisions from the ref seemed odd, but I was sat up in the stand so looking at it from 60-70 mtrs away where ref was next to the play, but if a ball comes out in a 3 man tackle it has to be a knock on by the attacker or a ball strip, so head and feed decision a couple of times seemed odd unless cats player was trying to offload and quins hand in but certainly did not look like that.
What did annoy was the TJ ok it did not make a difference to the result, but when a penalty is given on the 40 mtr line and the TJ sets the 10 mtr mark on the 20mtr line!!!!! sorry but if he makes mistakes like that how much faith can we have in other decisions

Would promotion & relegation solve that problem?

Alright, I'll accept we could easily have taken a much worse battering against Warrington, but let's face it they started so powerfully they were never going to sustain that for eighty minutes.
It would be equally plausible to say we could have got a much closer scoreline against Wigan, but for the referee's remarkable capacity to disallow our tries whilst ignoring clear infringements on Wigan's in the first half. (I was too far away to see ours clearly so I'll have to accept he may have got those right, but their first two should have been chalked off for offside and a knock on respectively - not controversial, it wasn't even debatable looking along the line from about twelve rows back behind the typically inert touch judge - and if you weren't going to disallow the third one for crossing then frankly I wouldn't expect to ever see any try disallowed for crossing.)
