Widnes were in SL for four consecutive seasons and never once pulled a crowd of 10,000, never mind averaging that figure. |

Back to the OP.......crusaders are doing fine and deserve a lot of credit for their gates.....but again, their gates are their gates......nothing to do with Quins RL.

That's what I meant...wasn't having a go at you, just saying I couldn't care if Widnes averaged 20k when they were in SL or even this year. |

you can call me whatever you want but at the end of the day harlquins who i'd like to see doing well are in line for the wooden spoon and have attendance lower than a lot of teams in the division below them!
time for everyone at quins to pull finger, with help from rfl and league suppourting pubilc! if cant come up with strategies short term medium term and long term goals and bvelievable ways to attain them. then should go back to drawing board play in the lower divisions as having no plan is planing to fail....
anyway not into name calling so good luck with your club! hope you can turn it around!

er....I didn't call you a troll. I actually paid you a (back-handed) compliment......read my posts. It has all been done to death on these boards (mainly by me). The Club choose to go down the route they want to. Regardless of the suggestions made by the RFL or their representitives, the club is a business and the owners of that business have a right to do as they see fit. I do not agree with the route the club have taken...but that's that. Not a lot I can do about it.
I agree with you Kiwi's 13-6........and most on here do too, but it is now down to the club to sort it out. |

Yes we're aware of that, but why follow up with a ridiculous irrelevant statement about what another club's attendances might be if they happened to be in SL when there's no evidence whatsoever to support it? You're attempting to reinforce your own argument with a load of bull. |

Hang on, I don't know why that pillock was bringing us in to it but what the feck do you think the rest of the country is? Widnes is on the doorstep of two major cities. We have SFA to do? That's just unfair. We're also competing with the two biggest sporting clubs in the country and numerous other ones.

Er...I wasn't having a go at Widnes.....just pointing out that an estimate of a 10k average the moment you landed in SL was a tad OTT and that when compared to London, there isn't that much more going on for you to compete against. These observations were not made with you in mind, just trying to point the new poster in the right direction when it comes to his observations regarding Gates at Harlequins. Chill CD.......you know I like Widnes, your fans and your stadium. |
