Northernbloke we have said it about a lot of the ex players because until Henderson we have not had a coach for years who has been capable of developing players. Sargy, LMS, CLubb the list goes on. Lets hope we can now develop and keep the players we have trained through our academy

Poorly officiated. Penalties at random. Shocking video reffing. Listening to Clarke, McDermott, etc.

Difference between the 2 teams, ptb speed simple.
Excellent performance from our boys, with about 15 gone in second half I thought we were going to come out winners.
Some really good scrambling defence and they competed well, matching the Catalans in nearly every part of the park.
Negatives, junior although pretty good in defence succumbed to the tackle far to much when
he was the ball carrier. Too many times the dragons ball carrier got a quick ptb as they nearly always landed on there knees and elbows, we were invariably on our back.

Excellent performance, unfortunately not a result that counts. Not sure just how much that game will have taken its toll come next week either.

I was at the game so difficult to comment on the first Catalan try, but referee thought no try and the big screen seemed to show ball touched down on line? Great performance defensively, and a couple of last ditch tackles prevented tries for us. Very proud in tremendous heat, pity we didn't win

Very good showing against a bigger team. We looked fit (Other than Junior who was blowing at 10 mins and replaced)

Interesting that he played Api at centre for the 2nd half.

We clearly had a plan to attack their right side. Hendo must have seen weakness over there.

All in all great performance. Just a little disappointed with the result.

Watch that myler try on tv, sadly for us it was inside the line, and was actually a good call from the vr.

The VR issue in France and as shown on BBC is a question that needs to be raised though. Maybe not so much BBC but the French broadcaster have nowhere near as many cameras as sky, so not as many angles. So should the vid ref be used? I know it raises the issue of the camera showing something the on field officials miss and subsequent headlines. I still think that if anyone is serious about moving the game forward every super league game should have VR.
As for the BBC sometimes the cameras are just looking at the wrong thing

The Dragons had a try chalked of when Walker dropped the ball that I thought looked good.

A changing point in the game for me was kicking out on the full after conceding a try. We sustained a lot of pressure around that time in the game.

NO! After the SF last week I'd say not. Wouldn't be so bad if they followed their own directive and looked at an incident once or twice and if they can't find anything conclusive then let the on-field decision stand but taking 5 minutes and numerous replays for various incidents last week I got to the stage where I didn't care about the decisions but just wanted the game to restart. I couldn't be bothered with that every week.

? The walker "try" was like the Myler try? I was there couldn't make a judgement and therefore go with the decision. The Myler try was judged a try, so therefore the Walker try wasn't a try. We came so close it was a shame to lose. Best defensive performance of the season though!

The walker incident certainly looked like a straight knock on, but the calls are the calls. As for the SF I will say it again, bbc don't know how to cover the game. Watch most SL games they make the decision pretty quick so basing the VR use on the SF game is a bit harsh. Even at Catalan decisions were made pretty quick.
That restart penalty was shocking., it is where I get annoyed though, you can straddle the side line and the ball is out on the full penalty, straddle the dead ball line the ball carrier has taken it dead drop out !!!!!!!
