And a rush to the front to shake the players hands

"That wasn't a kick, the was a pass with his foot!" Brian Noble making Andrew Voss lose sleep: |
|
| Can't seriously want us to lose? I would rather we win, then win next time and win again afterwards even if it means him keeping his job, if he can produce wins thats what we need. Though that won't happen.
I intend to take a Towell because I am completely fed up with the team, coach club and everything, and if I hadnt paid for a season ticket I wouldn't bother going at all.
It's not childish making your feelings known, sitting there taking it and clapping them off time and again when they have played like tripe is the silly thing to do.
Think towels are only a few quid in wilkinson...

Nope - afraid not. Even if we get nilled, and lose by 100+ points in front of a crowd of 250 the Towel would still be in a job on Sunday morning

| Powell is being interviewed by Rammo on Radio London this evening. Don't know if he's inviting questions from listeners but you could try if you want.

simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |

| The interview was recorded this afternoon I believe.
Feel sorry for Ian Ramsdale...must be difficult coming up with anything positive to say about our team (hence he broadened the spectrum of the programme to encompass all London and Southern RL.)

Don't forget silly shouting from the stand such as 'go on robbo' and 'go on dicko'. What cretin started that?

Well, I suppose that's his brief. Broncos certainly don't merit anything like an hour a week at present.

Yeah, and messages from both Gutters and Barnaby, one containing an unbroadcastable word.
Programme just added to my depression. Only thing that I got out of the Powell interview was his opinion that a win could turn things round. Well, we've had 4 wins this season, all against poor opposition, none of them changed anything and I can't see that even a win on Saturday against the worst SL team, apart from ourselves, is going to be any magic key. Just look at the following fixtures, I can't see any win in the offing except maybe against Leeds if they're really in freefall.

Frankly, after listening to that show, I feel even more depressed than ever. Powell rambling on about "fans should see us at training" just about sums up how out of his depth he is.....

| Have you considered that he may wish to say things that would be unpalatable to the fans, players and owner? Should he say something like, "Gowers a miserable get, Robertson doesn't want to be here, all the young Londoners are way out of their depth...Rodney should have stuck with the Bull riding and all the others are a load of old crocks". ?
TBH, there's not many on here that would be happy with anything he said other than "I resign" so he can't really win.

Dan I respect your viewpoint BUT 4 wins in a year is getting a bit much and you know how much I care! I can't think of anyone else in professional sport who wouldn't have got the tin tack with that record.

| I know PP and you know how much I care. I'm just making the point that no-one would be happy with anything he said (other than those two words!).
I find it hard to believe that if DH was in a position to be able to make changes such as getting rid of RP, then he would have done so. Either that or he genuinely believes that RP is the man for the job. Neither scenario sits well with Broncos fans.
I just really don't know what to think anymore. A lot of our fans are angry...I am just sad.
