i just get annoyed that its a london talent leaving. i think he has got better and better as season drew on. who knows where he may get to next season. Will he get a game at Hull KR, probably guaranteed start with Broncos.

northern clubs pick up our good lads or might be good and we get left with cast offs coming down south.

only plus is when northern clubs ask what we contribute, expanding the playing pool so they can have their pick should suffice.

Caro is a raw talent. Goodness knows how good he will be. According to Gus the club tried to keep him but he was 'persuaded' to move North (Agent Offiah?)

However, we still have Dixon on the other wing and its critical that we have a good season now so id rather have Robertson playing on the other wing now he's resigned and spend the money on someone else. Other good lads are coming through and his money can be used on Lovell, McKeekan etc.

Was Omari any better under TR than he was under RP? I don't think so, but there is room for improvement with time. I would be surprised if he gets more 1st experience at HKR them he has enjoyed down here in his first year. Good luck to the lad.

12 games in and he clears off to Hull of all places. Ha. Good riddance. I will be shocked if he makes a career out of the game. Players of his type are easily replaceable.

I honestly wish him well but I think he is the new Kevin Penny.......got the right build and loads of speed if he gets the opportunity to use it, but I remain unconvinced as to his overall abilities. Think he may struggle to make the grade in the long term.

He reminds me of Leroy Cudjoe - looks and plays the same way. Cudjoe has developed into a decent SL player, will Caro?

Caro still lacks positional awareness (can be taught), some aggression (up to the player) and some confidence (can be built) but he has a lot of raw talent. Good luck to him but not the end of the world for the Broncos.

Pace makes such a huge difference and balls to defence.
Wing defence is the most overrated thing in sport.

Caro looked good when we played well. When we under the hammer he was invisible.

He's not that good.

Caro was breaking through around the end of the 2010 season and just needed a run of games but he could not get past Powell's favourite Jamie O'Callaghan and get a fair run.

Whilst O'Callaghan got 23 games in 2010 and 26 games in both 2011 and 2012 Caro was getting the scraps.

Caro is a far better player with a higher potential than O'Callaghan and we have lost a player who is strong, quick and will improve whilst retaining someone who has played over 80 Super League games across five seasons and offers nothing.

Powell should have brought Caro in and managed out O'C and with that Omari would have had a fair contract and regular spot and not been keen to leave prior to Tony Rea arriving.

Powell's man mismanagement bites us on the backside again, that's another loss like Ellis, Wilkes, Gale, Pryce etc who have all been much better after moving on.

With an agent like Offiah he was likely to agree on a move midseason after a long fruitless wait for a spot.

I don't see him as another Sheriffe, Worrincy etc because they had big deficiencies in their game in that they were slightly quicker than some players but lacked tackling and defense generally.

This guy is a good player and it is bad to lose him without a fee after just 12 games. Ruddy Powell.

two things. Firstly, he is not yet a good player but has the potential to be one.....and secondly, whilst I agree that Powell was a clusterfeck of a coach, the blame for his errors is not entirely his......there are 2 other culpable people who failed to do the decent thing earlier in the piece and they should both shoulder the blame as well.......but neither will.
