| Quote: Rob from Erith "Real game of two halves, only one team in it in the first, Broncos dreadful in the 2nd got steamrollered by Fev. Real shame, always enjoy / prefer games under the lights, only plus is it didn't cost us our top of the table position. Rested players will be back for the Easter games, we'll need them'"
Spot on. Fev were missing some as well. That said without Cunningham Iaone Slyney Garside Battye Naiqama, Barthau on bench and Eliab finding his feet not too despondent. Decent enough contest on the field but the game itself had the feel of A team footie under dodgy floodlights with minimal effort put in by the club - perhaps understandable.

| It was very disappointing second half they just got a roll on and we spent the whole time defending in our own half, most of it through self imposed errors

Was actually 8 tries conceded in the second half (plus two disallowed). Think the key to the game was that we (Fev) didn't capitulate during the early stages when when London had all the ball, London's completion rate in the first half was excellent and it was about half an hour before we had a play the ball inside their 20. I hadn't read much about it before but there does seem to be a slope at Ealing that I thought had an impact on the game, London made good yards in the first half but struggled to do so in the second half whereas we found it tough in the first half but rolled downfield at will in the second.
Both teams were missing key players and I'm sure the League rematch will be a very different kettle of fish, but from our point of view it was fantastic how we rallied round having lost Channing and Thackeray in the first half hour, which meant we were playing without our two regular centres, our two regular halfbacks and our regular hooker, with John Davies switching from hooker to second row to half back within the space of 10 minutes, but our fringe players such as Day and Cooper really stepped up. I saw London's win over Halifax & thought London badly missed Slyney & Ioane but was surprised how easy we found it to score in the second half, it looked like a try was on the cards every time we were in the London half.
Still, we start at 0-0 again a week on Monday, should be a cracker, hopefully with a bigger crowd, there will certainly be more from Fev that day.

| No broken jaw but his teeth and mouth are a bit mangled and requires surgery from the dentist
Think of Sloth from The Goonies and you can picture what he looks like
He is out 4-6 weeks

| Sounds like it was an entertaining game with lot of points scored, I've not seen the game yet need to get the DVD. What do you all think about the game, how do Fev compare to Fax and Dewsbury?

| To be fair I was not particularly looking out for him, I know one man does not make a team but we were competing in the first half, we capitulated in the 2nd. Izzy was on the park all the first he came off during 2nd

| We get the chance to put things right after our awful second half performance on Saturday.
It will be nice if we come away from Bradford with two points and no injuries. This will set us up nicely for our Monday match, A match we need to win.

Although he came out in his No 6 shirt, he played as a centre. Made more yards in contact than you would expect from a No 6, but no real signs of a passing or kicking game.
Wonder what he was told his role was in this game?
