Well, looking at our squad I cant say I am shocked. We should be more worried about the bottom of the table than the top. As for PL, does not matter what they do if the product on the pitch is not good enough.

The club continues to harp on about getting to SL. To get to SL you need a decent squad, look at the previous winners.

I'm sure someone will say "why should Hughes spend his money"...reason, we are where we because of Hughes. He has to keep us alive because of his own actions. Numerous moves, poor appointments, shedding fans left right and centre. Club is a shambles and in truth, is run more like a League 1 club than a SL one.

Its rubbish. Why can't the club see the squad is under strength and under powered. Our forwards are not up to it physically. Thing is, it been obvious for a while and yet we respond by letting Battye and Allgood leave and not really replacing them. Having 10 academy players in the team means nothing if we are getting tonked each week.

Indeed, you don't get any points for having Academy players in your team. We need players of the right standard to be competitive.
