The ego is stroked because he is the centre of attention, again, no doubt all of the usual, "not about me, all about the club, should have listened to me, another thread about me, don't like it do one, I am not the problem" etc etc will ensue because he just cannot leave it alone, so pretty much he has succeeded in wearing down anybody who actually just wanted to discuss RL in the South of the country.
