No way, Salford have the worst online store ever in any sport!! Why aren't the RFL setting a minimum standards for marketing, promotion and merchandise? SL overall is dire when compared to other pro sports!!

Sorry to say, Salfords shop is Harrods compared to our poundland
Bring back Gio and his port-a-cabin......limited stock, but good quality gear (still got all my old Broncos shirts).......makes the current shop look like a market stall.

| Apparently there are now some Broncos caps available, only a year after they should have been. No sign of them on the club shop website though.

| Never in our glorious 32 history have we had any Xmas merchandise!
There are many non-league soccer clubs from the depths of the Ryman or Evo-stik leagues with better merchandising.
Not good enough, just coz they keep getting it wrong does not mean we should give the CEO an easy time.
We either start with fire in our bellies or crawl away and find somewhere to die. Which is it Mr Hughes and Mr Mackay?

I was joking when I said he removed the man from the one man & his dog cricket attendance equation.
David Hughes must be really gullible is all I can say.
Just hope his spam filter weeds out emails from Nigeria.

This sentence has got me thinking, are the fans doing enough? For as long as I've read this forum, there has been fans questioning the actions of those who work at the club. There has also been some very good suggestions to improve the club from many on here that either haven't been given to the club or ignored altogether when given to the club. Again, this thread sees people question the actions of the club. However, are the fans doing enough to put a bit of pressure onto those running the club or are the fans getting answers to their questions?
I feel that a supporters group need to start trying to work with the club and actually asking questions to those at the club.

For years, many many fans of the club have done varying things and made efforts to get the club on track...before my time I believe a house was put up against finance to assist the club to stay alive. The volunteer group was told that it wasn't needed any more a few years back, the RFL offered their marketing expertise for 1 day a week but the club ignored everything that was suggested, I negotiated a deal with a major UK company who have since partnered with METRO amongst others that would have raised funds for development, it was ignored.....METRO were receiving 150k a month from this deal 6 weeks later.....I reckon the club could have raised about 50k in year 1.
...in short, the club has burn bridges and ed off too many people too many times to be deserving of any help, IMO that is. We had an ally at METRO who moved to ES....we ignored that leverage.
Gus told me that my 20 point plan from 2009 (repeated 2010) was on the wall of the office.....they have never tried any of it.
The club now has a CEO and a PA to the CEO, as well as a couple of interns and a dance manager......my local Amateur RL club, Petone Panthers has a bigger infastructure.......and they get all the help I can give them and are grateful for it........
London Broncos are lazy when it comes to back office stuff......always have been IMO and there is the problem!

It speaks volumes when an amateur club in the back end of beyond offer more choice in their club shop than one of only 14 Professional clubs in the Northern Hemisphere.

That's some seriously nasty clobber though.
They could probably do with less choice not more.

I would hardly call the Broncos clobber from 2012 "classy". By all accounts, I was lucky they deemed overseas delivery a problem...the replica shirts bobbled after a few washes.
Did anyone here get their hands on a players grade shirt and if so, was the quality any better?

The polo shirts were okay.
I know you've got a downer on Gus, with good reason, but MKK aren't that bad.
Surrey & Sussex wouldn't use them otherwise.

No downer on Gus at all....I just like folks who walk it as well as talk it. As for MKK......I am sure they are brilliant, but they don't deliver overseas, and I resent paying VAT and Postage....
as for the quality.....I am only going on what others have said..they bobbled.
FWIW, I still think the club could have tapped into the O'neils deal with our landlords......some pretty nice clobber on offer there....
anyway, let's see is we get a chevron on the shirt this year or if it's still a T-shirt with a very strange collar.
