| I thought things were going to get nasty when I saw all those wire fans go to the side of the pitch after about 75 minutes. They looked enraged.

| Might have looked better if fans were in different stands! It doesn't work for me!
Can't blame the wire fans for being angry, at least they turned up which is more than can be said for their superstars.

| I agree and to totally ignore your fans at the end of a match when they have taken the time to travel and paid out of their own pockets to watch a team that didn't even try must have left them asking why they bother. I can never remember a time when our team ignored their fans even when they were given a hard time after a poor result. Brian Mc and the team always go and applaud the away fans maybe our home and away fan base are small in numbers at the moment but at least the team and the fans have respect for each other. King should be brought before the RFL for his behaviour. It lets the team and the fans down and I don't blame them for getting angry.

What do you expect? The Warrington players to walk over to the mob of people telling them they are unfit to wear the shirt and applaud them, standing there recieving a torrent of abuse?
Get real.

This has hapened to us a couple of years ago - can't remember which game it was - we made the point to the powers that be and it never happened again.

Morley did start to make a move over towards the fans but due to the abuse just gave a little thumbs up and then thought the better of it.

I noticed they were warming down on the far side of the pitch after the game. Frankly I think it could have turned nasty with people crossing the perimeter fence if the players had come over towards their fans. It was common sense for the players to keep their distance under the circumstances.

| I felt sorry for Matt King. The whole team, Morley and Rauhihi probably apart, played badly and he gets a pile of frankly outrageous abuse.
He gets no chance to show his stuff. He's a good player, but without a supply of ball he's not going be able to demonstrate it.
And I thought he gave an ironic thumbs up, not the finger.
I'd like to be sympathetic to Wire fans, I think they've been let down by their impressive (on paper) team - but it's difficult when you see a minority of them consistently abusing coach and players whenever they lose. And I'd be looking for a play maker who'd be able to get the best out of Gleeson and King, I don't think Briers is up to it.

| King is a scapegoat, but he wasn't their worst player yesterday. Briers put in one decent kick all game, neither of their hookers did anything, they just looked like they were making up the numbers.

We're not all Southern Softies: |
|
| Just after Chris Mellings length of the pitch try, a massive Wolves fan stood up from his seat & walked down the stairs to the pitch side.
He then took off his club shirt, rolled it up & tried to set light to it.
After numerous attempts, he gave up & threw the shirt to the ground & steamed off in to the Kings Bar.
Kind of sums up their day doesn't it !!!!!!

I saw the shirt on the floor, but didn't realise he had tried to set fire to it. It wasn't on the floor long though, another Warrington fan ran down the steps and pocketed it!
