| Agree with most of that mate.
The game does tend to ebb and flow in 15 to 20 min periods with who is on top, it's how you handle the times when you are not in command.
Think last night and at KR we showed we can play an expansive game, even on our tight pitch.
Fwds last night mark L played well and Eddie B I think had his best game in ages, but yep we need anther big grunt fwd.
Game management and a leader on the park is a big thing for me.
Tackle technique is the biggest coaching point

| NB you say that the two touches were very experienced. What you did not state was experienced in what? I ask because it did not appear to be much to do with rugby league.

| Great game disappointing result. Missing touch just before half time costly, did Ackers kick?
Thought our try line defence was exceptional, but Wire were good at first and second plays and made lots of yards, we can win all three of the remaining games, just need to keep concentration and avoid those bad 10-15 minutes!

| Much, much closer than I expected. Warrington's defence was pretty poor, certainly for a club of their stature, but we played well for large parts of the game. 1-17 worked hard and really gave it to Wire.
Everyone knows we need more impact off the bench, to supplement the work Eddie and Mark do up front. The trouble is finding someone for the right money, right motivation and desire to live in London. And a strike centre over on the right would be helpful. I also think some of our players really need to bulk up - Walker is a prime example; great ball runner but at least a stone underweight. When SL teams get on a roll we get pushed back too easily and give up ground as a result.
Overall it was a good night, and I took a couple of newbies along who enjoyed themselves.

| And as it stands Battye is out of contract at the end of the year.
I hope he is one of the few that Hendo mentioned have re-signed but not yet announced.
Along with Pewhairangi.

Worries me that Api still hasn't been signed up.
Thought Battye was excellent on Saturday night - could do a lot worse than keep him on.

He needs to do it week in week out, and not a one off.

A clear run of injuries for Spencer and another year of experience for Bienek and we could have 4 great props next season IMO.

| Agree about Spencer and Beniek. Battye I would like to see to re-sign.
Api - like northernbloke I feel he is not going to re-sign, which would be a great shame, hope it is down to partner's visa and that it comes through!.
Overall, as others have said previously, a powerful (big) centre and a gnarled experienced pack leader are the two types of player I would like to see signed. Otherwise I think the squad is pretty solid. We have come so close this season, after the early season wobble, that if we keep the squad together - we could do it

Agree re Bienek, he's a great prospect.
Spencer's never had a clear run of injuries in his career. From memory, I think he's only ever played 20 games in a season once. That looks unlikely to change, I'm afraid.

| It's an odd thing with api, his general demeanour gives the impression he is not settled.
Eddie B am not sure, again I would not be shocked if he went elsewhere, over the season I don't think he has been that special, sat night aside.
Beinek just needs game time under his belt to build his confidence.
As for promotion chances next year!!!!!! I have my money on 2019 season re structure and back to a franchise system, so not sure if outcome of 8s will mean anything
