But hell a great win after Sundays effort. Follow it up on Sunday and it will be an excellent 8 days.

People should not have been so negative on here during the game. If you were there you would have seen we were playing up hill and into the sun. And boy that is some hill.

Take into consideration that they craftily played last Friday night, unlike us on Sunday. Nor did they have to travel 160 miles to the game.

Playing at Batley is certainly a game of two halves and we came flying out of the blocks after half time and everything worked out.

In truth there was not much in it, winning there was a good result and the team is becoming a force to be taken seriously.

Said to Hendo after the win on Sunday that I hadn't seen our team play with that much passion for the club & each other for five or six years.

Seems like they were able to draw on that in the second half against Batley. Long may it last.

Rhys Lovegrove to quite a heavy knock near the end of the game yesterday. I hope he will be fit for Sunday, we would miss him.
