| U-18s result from Wilderspool this afternoon:
Warrington Wolves 18 London Broncos 20.
Obviously Wire must have had a weakened team.

I haven't had a chance to watch the game back yet, but can anyone explain those two penalty attack decisions by Hicks? I couldn't see the screen all that well and both baffled me.'"
The first one (can't remember the players involved) was for a tackle without the ball on the Wire player sliding in to ground the ball before it was knocked dead. It could have even been given a penalty try.

It was Hill tackled by Randall. One of the commentators said that Randall had no choice, couldn't see the ball so had to make the tackle. Doesn't make it legal but makes it justified.

| What a great performance that was by London. It's about time your team produced to its capability but I guess you needed a capable coach first to achieve that.
However ...
I am no longer looking forward to welcoming the Broncos to Langtree Park. The performance and results by London recently leaves me feeling somewhat nervous for two weeks' time.

| If its any consolation I doubt many of our supporters are looking forward to their annual visit to St Helens either.

Many reasons if you watch it on TV.
Players running in support of the player with the ball for a start. Gower now looks the great player we expected him to be because there is an end product.
Dorn is allowed to play to his strengths. The tacklers appear to have some idea what they are supposed to be doing and are working as a collective unit.
Even though many of them are youngsters
Its very basic IMO but Powell lost the players and his authority and couldnt motivate them. What a waste of a season. Im not a great T Rea fan but i want him to get the job in case they pick the wrong guy from the rest. Its what the Broncos do.

Who knows. You may get what you wish for.
He'd have to formally apply of course.

| Regards the facebook and twitter stuff, i think all SL clubs are a bit behind, press like on one of the NRL teams, my news feed always has something in there, they are really good at keeping things fresh and updated, and drip feeding you information. Really professional.

NRL clubs like Souths for example have a full time paid dedicated social media person for all that that encompasses.

Anyone's opinion that should have been a penalty try? At the game I said penalty only, my mates were split. Watching it back on tele, I think penalty try.
One of the lads I know is a ref and he said 100% penalty only though.
Who'd be a video ref eh?
T'other one on Robertson was harsh IMO. How is he meant to tackle someone who is 6 inches off the deck? IMO Dixon was worse when his grab first connected with Evans head before the shoulder but there was barely anything in that either.

| I'm glad to read on here people seem to get why there were penalties for attack even if they don't necessarily agree - everyone booing around me were a bit too partisan (Who can blame them).
The chants of 'you don't know what you're doing' quickly changed to 'you do know what you're doing' when we got the scrum given on the line to relieve the pressure in the second half.
Why was the breakaway in the second half called back? I couldn't see why the ref whistled them?

Ref called Melling offside after he picked up the ball when it rebounded from Rinaldi's foot. After watching it later on, it was extremely close, and a touch judge wouldn't of been able to of seen it. (But I'm assuming a touch judge did call it, seeing how they allowed us to run 50m before pulling it back.)
