| jaybs- Our ex-CEO Paul Blanchard said publicly that he thought the Quins deal was very reasonable and if irc, he said it was circa £200,000.
However, that could have changed now and I would guess now we aren't called Harlequins, QRU owe us nothing. Furthermore, they may not need us quite as much as they did 7 years ago so they have all the aces in their hands.
Quins have been good to us in that we have had loads of things going on on their pitch which football clubs may not go along with.
I reckon a lot of people will realise how good The Stoop was when we are no longer there.

The figures I have heard are around £200K per season at the Stoop. However, I also thought we had one year to go on current deal but that for any extension we would want the option of a one year notice to leave. If that is the case I would expect Quins to look for a higher figure.
I don't know what other deals are on the table but I would be quite surprised if there are better options in London, paticularly ones that could be in place for next season.

jbuzza as I said it always gets emotional, just Hope we do what is right for the club, we must be getting close to our last play of the cards in London with Super League.

Brentford would be my favourite. It would be less upheaval than the other two. Great memories and not much to choose between all three grounds. Gillingham would be too expensive travel-wise for me on a regular basis.

| Move to Gillingham and call yourselves London Invicta. Bringing the old and the new together.

| Quote: Southern Reiver "Err are you good at marketing crap then. You can invite anyone, it doesn't mean they'll turn up. On field does matter or do marketeers ignore that fact in planning. After all what are you trying to sell. People only buy crap for so long however you market it. Your alternative is to control the market and strangle the competition.'"
Did you, Gus, Imogen, Powell or Hughes think we were going to be crap in 2012? The Club decided to re-brand as the Broncos as a way of generating interest and attracting fans, new and old, to the game in the London region.
We had St Helens, Huddlesfield (sic) and Castleford as the first 3 visitors to the Stoop this year....3,091 was the average attendance......less than the 2011 average.
This points to a total and utter waste of time and money with the re-brand.....those first 3 home games, regardless of how the team was performing, should have seen gates of 6,000+.
Marketing crap is not easy.....it involves a lot of creative thinking, trial and error and buckets of enthusiasm.
Anyway, as I have said, the club can move every year and change its name......eventually, the penny will drop and they will employ a marketer who understands the game, the USP's it has and who will do more than update facebook and twitter.

Moving to Gillingham would be the end of a London SL club. Insane idea.

Gillingham, or MK or Oxford - although it's much more convenient for me to get to statement of the bleedin' obvious 'Gillingham ain't London!' Enjoyed the OTR game there and would be more than happy to go back there again, especially if it coincided with Medway Dragons 'weekend'. However if we're going to move it HAS to be inside the M25 .

| It could the Allianz Arena (otherwise known as Barnet Copthall). Allianz has just agreed an £8m (yes, eight million) sponsorship with Saracens. And I can remember when their gates were half of what the London Crusaders got in the early '90s.
Rugby Union well connected - Rugby League paupers.
Who said the class struggle was over!

Yeah...funny that. I must have been dreaming this year when they filled Wembley and got all the associated media coverage
Get the blinkers off.......for all the group self gratification going on after the binning of the coach, we are at the foot of the table, with less fans than last year and we still don't know where (or even if) we will be playing our homes games next year.....the club is a shambles.
I am amazed that anyone connected with or who supports the London Broncos feels comfortable throwing snide comments at Sarries
