I thought it was pretty bad form by the Broncos that Tony's passing was marked with a couple of sentences in the programme, while later that year we had a minute's silence for Graham Murray. No disrespect of course to Mr Murray and family but Tony coached this club and created a wonderful side in the most trying of circumstances.

I've checked and your both correct, he did play for Crusaders in 93/94. He played 13 games that season.

Frank Napoli? Remember Bobby Goulding destroying Frank at The Valley. Kicks down his throat for two tries then as we all expected him to do the same kicked to the other wing for the game winner.

Yes it was appalling and just showed the lack of class that the club has displayed for some time.

For all his many faults, Frankie still continues to get as many mentions on here as any number of the club's true playing legends. He really is/was memorable (in a Frank Spencer-ish sort of way).
