| Could you ask the club why they did not chase lapsed season ticket holders who did not renew.I did not buy one this year or last season but heard nothing having had a season ticket the previous 4 years.

And you should be the discussion point with the other 4000 lost fans not the 200 apologists arranging minibuses to Barrow.

| I know if one lapsed ST holder who now only goes to odd games who was invited. He is exactly the demographic to be targeted as he spends a fair amount of time and cash on another SL side as well as other sports.
The issue isn't the meeting itself, but what they do with the information they get at it.
I've listed the 5 straight questions I'd ask....I look forward to reading their answers

Too late I am afraid. If they're walked, then they're lost to us as supporters until the ownership and therefore the ability to have a cohesive plan for the club changes.
I am sick (but I will never tire of) telling people that the problem is David Hughes. He, without a shadow of a doubt, means well, but he has butchered the club we all supported for decades to the extent that the source of much of the clubs fans recent ire, Monkey Boy, is now asking to meet with people to find out why they are so ed off with the club.
Hughes needs to:
declare how long he intends to stay for
declare the level of investment he is willing to commit to
step back and employ an RFL vetted and appointed General Manager to oversee the back office running of the club
Continue as Chairman, by all means, but let people with talent and ability make the decisions....
My fear is that we are Part Time inside 2 years and gone inside 5.....it's a crying shame and it was 100% preventable!

I remember asking big Mac at a forum in the cabbage patch about 2008 where he thought we'd finish...he said 1st.....i said no, really where do you see us this season and he stared at me and said first.....we finished 11th IIRC.....point being Hughes would have believed Mac.....nobody else with an ounce of common sense would have, but Hughes would have.
These gatherings only work if information is shared and acted upon....I getnthr impression that lobster and monkey don't take "direction" well

| DH needs to show that while he may own the club, it will have a life beyond his tenure.
He owes it to the fans (some of whom pre-date his ownership) to communicate plans that enable the club to be more sustainable year on year (rather than less as it currently seems to be).

| It may interest people to know that a couple of sports sources have now told me Monkey is consulting with at least some people experienced in turning clubs around about his plans for 2022. It appears that the fiasco of 2021 has persuaded him that perhaps others may know a bit more than him. If so, credit to him for waking up. Here's hoping he'll listen and it's not token. Shame about the damage already inflicted by the 2021'plans though.
WQ my question. Are the club aware that 25% of the Scottish Premier League is supporter owned? Those clubs receive substantial income from Trust members making monthly donations to the Trust which then part fund the club, alongside the club's commercial revenues.
One of those clubs, Hearts, is way bigger than Broncos ever will be but two, St Mirren and Motherwell, are not much bigger than Broncos once were.
It's a given this method of funding is not currently available to Broncos given they have devastated their own support base. However: -
Do they regret not working with LBSA to establish such a scheme when it may have been vtable, with David keeping control but LBSA getting equity in return for substantial funding.
If the support base recovers, and LBSA are interested, will the club investigate this funding model in the future?

In short...he farked up and is only now considering he may be out of his depth...he doesn't deserve credit....he deserves his cards

Of course, LB will be able to look at how the new landlords work with the supporters trust or other local clubs like Hampton and Richmond Borough FC which seem much better run than LB.

| There's also a senior bod from Dulwich Hamlet, from memory currently 29.9% Supporter Trust owned and with a written agreement to transfer to majority supporter owned, known to the club.
I chose the Scottish club model as we keep being told/hinted at David wants to cut his funding and cannot source other investors. The club seemingly set up BOSG to try and increase money from supporters coming into the club. Yet two clubs of similar size to where Broncos used to be are banking tens of thousands a month between them by working with their Supporters Trust instead of against them.
Edited to add some facts.
Hearts - as of last month the Trust, currently around 8000 strong, had raised £12,343,698. Clearly Hearts are far bigger than Broncos ever will be.
St Mirren - the Trust has three membership levels with most paying the middle £15 a month with 1.2k or so members meaning probably £15-20k per month.
Motherwell - a while ago I'm sure I read their Trust was pulling in £30k or so a month.

| Yes there is a guy heavily involved with Dulwich Hamlet, who follows the club. I believe he is a player sponsor.
Without doubt there is a lot that the club could learn from Dulwich. Such as the way it connects with its local community and respects its fans.

Finding other investors has no doubt become increasingly difficult as DH neglected growing or even maintaining the fan base.

He:s an ex-Chairman and the man who co-wrote the DHFC revitilization plan back when they got gates of 170 and were widely disliked locally due to mis-management of their facilities by the then owner. The co-writer of the policy also supported Broncos but is now deceased. Put simply the two of them saved the club
The deceased lad is the one Monkey said on here he couldn't see what he had to learn about club revitilization from a librarian when I recommended the duo as a source of free advice. Totally ignoring the fact the bloke had won two serious national awards for his work at DHFC and chose to work for the club he loved for free, which is why he remained a librarian. The change in that attitude to the point where Monkey is reputedly going out and consulting is why I will give him a little credit. It must have been rather humbling to realise the librarian he had nothing to learn from delivered much better results
