| Have you guys got many forwards to come back from injury? Looked like a lightweight side yesterday.
Also, seems strange to move Sammut to 9. Appreciate it must be to cover injury, but would've thought you'd want him on the pitch for the whole 80.

We have a couple but when they will return is anyone's guess and I don't think they will make much difference to the size of the pack.
As for Sammut, no back up for Cunningham, only an inexperienced youngster. It's all a bit of a mess really

| Quote northernbloke="northernbloke"Plummy, if disagreeing with other people posts and countering with my own opinion is slagging people off then am guilty. But I always thought that’s what a forum was about.
Slagging off usually means harsh insulting or abusive manner! I never insult I am never abusive, harsh maybe you could say. So in that sense have never slagged anyone off.
But back on thread, easter is quite often a turning point of lots of clubs, think it is for london this year.
I stand by my predictions on the results we have coming, call it negative if you wish, I see it as reality. T=#FF0000he positive side of it, I think we will still finish 4th or 5th, at a push 3rd. Why is 4th a positive? Pundits had us struggling from the start, they were proved wrong, with the squad we have, with lack of depth 4th is our level compared to other teams in the league. To finish above that we really needed at least 2 points over easter.
I hope am proved wrong but at the minute we are a long way behind Toulouse and Leigh, especially away from home, and both games against Toulouse are away.'"
Fourth may rapidly be beyond you. Leigh and Halifax are both in form. Granted, Leigh have some very difficult fixtures coming up, but should they win those, they should go above you. Your only chance looks like Toulouse or Featherstone having a bad run, and neither seems to be likely to do that.

Well Toulouse blew up towards the end of last season didn't they?
Probably after we took their unbeaten home record off them - although I'm happy to be corrected on that one.

From a selfish (Leigh) point of view, I would love Toronto, Toulouse and Featherstone all to have a bad run - then things would get really interesting!!

Toulouse season rests very much on keeping thier half Ford fit, they are a different side when he doesn’t play...I think Rovers will also have a dip in form at some time due to being part time and Injuries. Toronto are a real mixed bag. Leigh however are starting to look like the real deal, they are a Super League in everything but name...it’s going to be a 5 horse race!

| Toulouse I think will have learnt from last year, but for me am hoping Toronto do a Toulouse 2017 and run out of steam at the back end of the season, with them it will be interesting to see how the players adapt to the long spell away from home. Agree that the French need to keep players fit though but against us they looked strong.
London are light, we knew that at the start of the season, keeping players fit was the key, unfortunately that’s not happening at mo with some key players out or carrying knocks.
Not having a dig at Leigh, but you do have that extra half mil to play with which should put you in a decent position. Toronto!! Playing by the salary cap? Hard to believe but hey, london are reliant on DH wether we like it or not hence the light squad.
Toulouse Catalan million pound game anyone?

Totally agree with you on that. However, it would appear that we didn't spend it all wisely, and are lucky to have an opportunity to claw our way back into the race. Even now, we can ill afford more than a couple of slip-ups - still a tall order, with visits to London, Featherstone, Toulouse and Toronto to come, plus the 'Summer Bash' with Toronto. Hopefully, we changed our coach in the nick of time (and hopefully don't change this one!) and we can win most of those games, to stir things up a bit, between the top 6/7 teams!
