| Trailfinders sports ground is, I am led to believe owned by a charitable trust.

| If we are going to Ealing this will end the support we have given over 25 years. It will be the death of the club. Shall we hold a wake at the last game. If we need to move why not somewhere like buying in to Esher Rugby Club it seemed a neat ground when we played there, not difficult to get to as train is direct from Waterloo and direct buses from Kingston and they are looking to expand. There was plenty of parking. No pub on the corner but maybe a club bar in the ground would help produce more revenue to help run the club. Maybe even Kingstonian are worth a look, I heard a rumour they are looking for a partner but dont know if it was true. It's in London area, good transport links and car parking.

If you find an owner for the Club in there I will be back.
If not its Skolars as usual and the Southern amateur scene for me. I will miss the social side of it because that's what it's been all about in recent years.

| I like the Ealing Ground it has a nice bar and facilities for players. It is great for standing outside the bar too chatting about rugby, although the 3G pitch has raised the pitch level so high you are at boot level. There is a good pub, the Duke of Kent, quite close and more good pubs in Ealing. An ideal place to watch some Union where seeing the actual game is not that important to the experience.
It is a dreadful place for the Broncos to go. The journey time wil be much longer with the slow tube, train and bus routes you have to use. I don't think there are more than 300 seats in the main stand so this is the limit for season ticket sales forever. You can fit a lot more in standing round the pitch and in the stand behind the posts but you won't be able to see the match very well.
This is a big step down from the Hive and even the Skolars New River stadium is a much better place for genuine spectators. Could be the final straw for most spectators this one included. Hope it is not true.

Strikes me we'd be better off moving in with the Skolars! I think Ealing will be the end of the line for most of the diehards unless we are buying in AND have plans/permission to expand! I'm not holding my breath!

| Have to agree with a lot of other posters.
The only positive spin you can put on this is if we are buying in, and therefore are finally getting what we have always needed, a long term home that we can't be evicted from on a whim.
If we are just tenants, then this tells me DH is ready to pull the plug. Especially considering the rumours of a long term deal at The Hive being turned down.
My real worry is team morale. What are the likes of Thacks going to be thinking when they rock up to play here?

There is a nice bar in the clubhouse that served a decent pint. Agree that this would make a far better choice, unless we are actually bauying in at Ealing.

No mate! If I'd known I'd have worn funereal attire and brought a wreath!

I'd have worn that all black abomination of a shirt that Gus foisted upon us.

Esher are building a new stand as far as I know they have planning and building should start imminently. AFC Wimbledon are hoping to move back to Plough Lane which means they will want to sell Kingsmedow I doubt if K's have the money to buy the stadium back as they sold to AFC because they had financial problems.
I do not think Kingsmedow could be developed into a 5000 seat stadium let alone 10,000 there is not much land around the pitch.

| People are forgetting that Hughes and Mackay carried out an exhaustive 2 year microscopic search for a new home from Gillingham to Orient and back.....before the RFL bribed......sorry paid a marketing stipend to the Hive at the 11th hour to ensure they got 2014 sorted.
Hughes has had enough, the majority of fans have left, the rfl don't care and in general, we are reaping the rewards of dire and in my opinion almost criminal neglect of one key area of business...... Wire-quin will tell you what that is

| Kingstonian have already said the believe the way forward for them if Wimbledon do sell up is to leave Kingsmeadow.
It should be said Kingstonian did not sell the ground. An owner put the ground into another company and then sold the lease to Wimbledon. The 200% website carried an exhaustive feature on it as one of their writers is a well known K's fan.

1. Actually, the estate is on the eastern side of the tracks, the ground is on the western side....,
2. RL has its roots in council estates and working class areas......or have you not been north of late
3. Everywhere in london is within a Driver and a wedge of a dodgy estate......even Twickenham had one, as did Brentford.
4. Remoteness? And you say you're not part of a clique?

Yet again, twisting and mis-representing my words to suit your own agenda.
