| I'm going to move to Ireland and then start flying to games so I can post about it on here, making myself the number 1 fan, and making anyone who ever complains about having to travel more than 20 minutes to the ground look awful.

| Wakefield sometimes struggle for crowds, I can just imagine them moving a home match 1 hour from their current ground. By my calculations, this would be the equivalent of shifting one of their games to Mansfield or Shorpe.
London Broncos, working hard at planting some local roots

Completely correct, I bet even some Wakefield fans may travel one hour to their ground! a few people forget how many loyal supporters have to travel more than an hour to The Stoop, how long did it take to travel to Leicester when we played there remember that day well! Roots well we will never survive with new fans simply from Richmond & Twickenham are that is living in a dream world, the walls some people put up! LOL

A few people forget that the successful Rugby League clubs in this country have fanbases that mainly comprise of local supporters, thousands of which walk to matches. But hey, never mind, lets just give up on that idea like you say, we'll do it GusDave's way

Miles too small unless we play Catalans every week.

| I have Never been able to walk to the ground I have supported, 25 minutes when I supported St Helens and since the first game at Fulham 3 hour drive minimum to a home game. Friends in St Helens complain about having to travel to Langtree Park and all parking is on Council pay car parks, a few are being Stubborn and saying they will not Go! but I know they will!!!
Just wonder how many of our Loyal fan base live in Twickenham???

| I live in the borough and lived in Twickenham for a couple of years.
Was a coincidence though - although only really started going regularly when they were at Brentford - was a season ticket holder at the London Knights Ice Hockey club and they had around 40 home games a year ( they also played the other end of London so travel wasn't the issue - just having enough free time - ) and didn't fancy adding too many hikes across the capital when Broncos played at Charlton.
Went a couple of times a year when they played there but not much more - my folks were STH back then, sitting behind Britney

Thanks Darthchris, I would be disappointed if we do not have loyal supporters in the Borough, but from friends and neighbours do you think we have many that can just walk up rather than drive or use public transport?

But how many do you think do walk? is it 50% of our 3,000 base or 70& or 10% or less and with a ground with good transport connections and close to the tube would it be more, we just can't survive on our current supporter base that is fact.

Not really sure what point you are trying to make but London is a big place. I doubt that a significant proportion of fans have been locals within walking distance wherever we have played.

My only point jbuzza is that someone raised it as a negative of ever leaving The Stoop as we would lose all our loyal base, which I feel is not accurate as our loyal supporter base must come from a larger area than any club in Super League. Yes London is a big place and people walking up may use public transport. One day the decision may be our to make as a club, it may be down to our Landlords and their demands.

| I don't so much believe the location is he big factor, it is more the stadium itself. The Stoop's a great rugby stadium which fits our needs perfectly. We'd be mad to leave.
