| I don’t know if others have seen theJC post match interview on Twitter feed. Not feeling very charitable generally but I did feel a little sympathy for the fella. But two points struck me. One the mentioning of the LB fans making some noise etc. If only 8 attended that seems bizarre. More importantly was the highlighting of the difficulty of a new halves pairing taking time to gel. Whilst that seems valid, what on earth did we expect when we bring a fella in to a key position for only 2 weeks. One assumes we go through this all over again in 2 weeks. Our recruitment policy! Ptah!!

I can’t disagree with you about Coleman but ut who’s available to replace him?
Danny Ward won’t be coming back surely?

When you run the club into the ground it will inevitably become more difficult to attract talent.

I suspect the list of people with relevant experience who want to coach PT in London is very very short hence who Broncos and Skolars have in post. The alternatives seem to be to return to a previous manager, take a flier in-house, say older player, or go for an Aussie who fancies a bit of London. By way of example, should JCs reign come to an end at the end of the season it’s quite difficult to see where he goes next. Jobs for London based players/coaches and people willing to base themselves in London for a PT gig seem pretty thin on the ground. We’re in a hole.

| Everything that is wrong with the club seems to stem from poor decision making. If we are to have any future, that issue will need to be addressed.

| decided to go the the Dewsbury game (1st game I'll attend this season).. Having a feeling that this game has the whole future of the Broncos on the line. Don't expect much, but it could be the last time I see London live.
Going to wear the oldest top I have (2003 away shirt from the Brentford days). Hopefully it will bring the team some luck

At least that will be a proper Broncos shirt not the Blue/Yellow stuff of nightmares. To give ourselves some self respect & better chance of winning, we need to play Dewsbury in BLACK!

I know what you mean but at this stage I couldn’t care less what they wear they just need to WIN.
I assume 3/4 of our SL ready stadium will be closed. Perhaps we should invite the RL great and the good along to see what their stupid rule about stadium size has done to the club.
Any idea what we are doing to attract people to our Friday night game against Newcastle? I wonder if we should just tell AFC to open up only blocks 105-107 and cut costs on stewards.it would be embarassing to have one steward for every two attendees and seems unfair to make them waste money: they have their own problems.

I’ve only been to the first game of the season, am aiming to be at the Dewsbury game- perhaps those of us who’ve been around for a couple of decades ( or more) should wear an old Broncos jersey, if for no other reason to remind ourselves that we once had a good team/ club.

....and won by 8. For London's sake, better hope Workington were building up to their first (single) point of the season next out against The Rams.
In a footnote regarding nominative determinism (eg Mr Bunn the baker, Mr Daub the painter or, in the case of the drug & booze addled beggar in the street behind Bongser's place of work, John Speed), Whitehaven's No9 wasn't playing tonight, his stand-in (No24) revels in the surname of Hookem.

A salutary reminder to the Broncos board when considering whether their pursuit of the Aussie second tier player Rodney Notverygood is sensible.
