What I don't believe is beneficial is the fact that the 2nd year option had to be renegotiated and the Landlord was always in the "box seat" in such negotiations as there was little alternative for the club to accept his terms. As such, the marketing budget that the RFL donated to the landlord in 2014 has now been replaced/underwritten by David Hughes, so as in the year just gone, the only revenue the club will receive in 2015 will be from the RFL/SKY allocation......which does beggar the question of what we'll do in 2016 when the central funding is less than 30% than we will receive this year (unless of course we are promoted

I often stand alone on here, confronted by a wall of bland acceptance that supposes to represent the true fans of the club, whilst the reality is there aren't very many fans left......they all got very fed up with watching Hughes et al destroy THEIR club and listening to a few sad s applauding him for doing it. Some say they no longer post here because of me and my incessant negativity, but the reality is they don't post here because they too have given up on this cripple of a club. FWIW, I honestly believe that if those running the club showed 50% of the passion I have over the years then this conversation wouldn't be happening....we'd still be in SL, we'd be averaging more than 5k and we'd certainly not be playing out of a non-league soccer stadium come training facility. I have never "applauded David Hughes" for his running of the club. I have never once approached a moderator about anyone or anything. But it seems you are so desperate to drive people off these forums that you are now prepared to tell lies about them.

Your last "dose of realism" was to tell us the club were homeless next year (the title of the thread gives it away) and someone who actually knows what's going on was able to tell us that you were wrong. You'd just made it up. And that's what really drives your anger. There are posters here who can tell us what's going on at the club now, whereas you can only tell us what was going on at the club ten years ago. At the time posted this thread, the hive had told the club that the contract for 2015 was not going to be as agreed in 2013.....without Hughes stepping up we would have been homeless.

There is no getting away from the fact that many loyal fans of Our Club from last season do not post any longer! I still visit the site daily, but just post when really relevant, the free enjoyable debate we used to have seems to have gone, it needs to be restored once again.
