Like to see flowers on the 2 mini roundabouts near the ground. Be a health hazard trying to put them there as most people seem to go over rather than round them.

London Broncos , in my experience, have always used the Field of Dreams approach - to paraphrase, ' if you stick the posts in the ground, they will come'. Worked so far hasn't it?
Oh hang on.........

Chris Warren put in the effort during his 10 years at the club. Crowds were pretty stable during that period.
It all started to go badly wrong when Gus was installed.

Part way through the 2007 season when I think he went full time with his Setanta broadcasting.

A big loss to the club.
I thought he left as we were moving to The Stoop - but I now have recollections of seeing him speeding away from the ground on his Vespa in our first or second season after leaving GP.

He wasn't a genius, but he at least had the decency to listen and discuss and put into place some ideas, like the leaflet drops. It does seem very basic, but a simple flyer dropped through the front door saw about 300+ fans more than the season average the game afterwards....I'd be all over VB asking for a decent price and flogging 6 tins in a bucket again........
I first met him when the club where at the stoop 1st time. There was $0 for marketing then too....

| Orangeman Chris wasn't involved in leaflet drops at all. That was SAG who got the leaflets printed at no cost to the club via the secretary/SAG organiser and it was fans who turned up the Thursday before each home game and delivered them around the local area. Between 15 to 30 fans depending on the people available. spent the full evening on distribution

| Talking of leaflets, Centre Court shopping centre in Wimbledon has a vaccination hub which will have a lot of local people and probably employees from Wimbledon businesses queuing up for their vaccinations. A queue of people queuing up not going anywhere would have been ideal for marketing.
How about this for an idea for the first game, cheap admission with the flyer which has a lucky number, a draw for all those who turn up with the voucher offer which gets them into a drawer to win a box at a future game.

Nice idea but I've been in Centre Court many many times & never seen a queue greater than 6 or so.
