Agree.....he needs to be given control of all the social media stuff for the season.

I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg

Definitely! Alex did a superb job, to see how he has taken his career, along with refereeing both RL and RL, he's come a long way!

Interesting looking at the video, the late forward pass was questionable!

Quote: crashmon "Hate to be that guy, we have already lost to Fev, but everything else your spot on

We won't beat Sheffield away they will be too strong, first win will be May 1st vs Rams. I still have us winning 6 this year, plus the draw at Barrow will give us 13 points, which should have us above Rams and Town

[*] Dewsbury(H)
[*] Workington Town(H)
[*] Workington Town(A)
[*] Newcastle(H)
[*] Barrow (H)
[*] Haven (A)'"

Fair play....I don't see us winning Newcastle or barrow at home nor haven away. Dewsbury and Workington represent 8 points we must win to stay up....you have more faith than I do at present because the body language of our coach is defeatist.

I think if it were a video ref decision you'd have got the "double movement" try and won the game. He bounced short and then over the line in near as damn it one movement. Seen at full speed (3 mins 11 seconds) I'm sure it would have been given.

The lad that had the seizure is back home now and doing ok.

I think we are more likely to beat Barrow at home, then Town away. Its a long old trip from Cumbria for part time players.

Yes Newcastle is a bit of a Punt, but I have this feeling we will win one unexpected game this year. As its the game after Dewsbury (our first potential win, and first home win), I think with the winless monkey off our back, the Newcastle game is their for the taking.

Of course we are all assuming we will beat Dewsbury at home. If we lose on 1st May, we might as well all pack our bags as that will the game DH throws in the towel (especially if gate is circa 500 as well)

He only has himself to blame for that. He's made loads of incorrect decisions and has allowed fans to be alienated from the club if not banned. No apology for the treatment of fans

If we lose to Dewsbury at home we’ll be relegated unless DH is prepared to fund an expensive, aggressive and proactive recruitment policy. Even then it depends on how the loan system works. I’m guessing that a player not getting regular 1st team rugby might be open to a move. Players seem to go on DR, we have no arrangement, or to a local-ish team - our only local team is Skolars - I’d rather we took no further players from them. If there is an element of the more you pay player and/or club more you get then we have room to manoeuvre, if not L1 here we come. Talk about a false economy on trying to put a team together on the cheap.

Quote: crashmon "Any idea on Attendance?'"

They've gone quiet on that front.
There were about 300 seats sold in the south stand by Saturday night and I'd say 900 across the rest.
Allowing for walk ups etc, 1500 would be my guess but the club are reticent to post either figures or pictures. It's the same with the now discounted gold and platinum options.....they market these as popular but I've only ever seen one matchday sponsor getting presented with their shirt outside.....
I've seen no video of the coach being interviewed in the lounge, or player of the day presentations......now we just a dejected Coleman interviewed in a quiet corridor somewhere.
Has anyone here sampled the delights of broncos corp hospo this year? I've not seen 1 picture across all social media from all our named sponsors of anyone enjoying their day at the game?
This begs the bigger question of how much rent are our landlords getting? Is the gate receipts from 1,500 going to cut the mustard when they look at the financials? Is Hughes content to sit in an empty corp hospo lounge whilst his side are being spanked by Whitehaven?
A few weeks now until the must win home game ......if ever there was a time to throw the dice and market the hell out of a game then this is it.
The ticket site is showing 250 seats already allocated for Dewsbury which is outstanding even if half are in the community sections .....the club really should be trying to fill all 3,000 seats with every man woman and child who've attended a broncos game in the last decade. This is a season defining match.....
...email every fan, get everyone to come in old Fulham, crusaders, broncos or quins shirts.....face-painting, kids zone
Book a band, open up post match presentations to all.....the club need to repair burnt bridges and Dewsbury represents a perfect opportunity to do so.....
.....but hey ho. I'll watch from afar as the club stagger between home ties and the crowds diminish as the season unfolds......I can see us needing 2 wins in our last 3 games to be safe......haven away, Leigh and then Barrow at home.....exciting times, just not in the manner Mr's Hughes, Loubser & Milner planned back when they moved us south.

Bulls TV didn't do you any favours on attendance by filming from the main stand but, if anyone missed it, they do provide the full match here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLVUMBCJyLc

Just watched it. Poor game but you can count yourselves unlucky.

Alas inflation has meant my old Fulham and Crusaders shirts no longer fit. If only the club had a retro/heritage range ... That might be too complicated a task seeing as the main page of the website is showing the Sheffield away game as taking place at 7pm on Good Friday, wake up Broncos it has been moved to Saturday 16th at 3pm in Doncaster !

Quote: orangeman "Christ......Cherry Red is a soulless hole when there's not many there. The ticketing site showed 300 tickets sold in the south stand.....not a chance there were 300 Bradford fans there.....the club need to do more than beg on twitter.
As for the game. It wasn't brilliant but Bradford can count themselves very lucky to come away with the spoils.....'"

EDIT: So the attendance at the Bradford Game was between 750-900 maximum according to many who were there.......a glance at the match video shows there were maybe 120 in the south stand, fewer than half the ticketing site was showing as sold pre-match.

The move has failed and I fear that once Hughes admits he was wrong, we will be lucky to see out the season.
