he deserves it but I feel some players have let him down and if those players had put in the effort he has and the rest of the team have we would be back in super league. I wont name them but they know who they are
Hendo deserves the award, he has changed the attitude of the club & most of its players. Unfortunately he needs the backing & money to bring in the 3 or 4 players that can get Broncos into Superleague. But given the players he has got & the reluctance of players to move south he has steadily improved the club season on season
Coaches do have a sell by date at clubs, smith at Warrington is a classic example. For me hendo and his team have brought a unity to the club, I think he has more to give and think as a club stability is reaping dividends, yes this year was poor, we had a bad start, then at the business end of the season we fell flat. But let's not knee jerk.
Am not sure he is at the point where he us likely to be poached by a bigger club, but look what happened to McDermott.
Red it doesn't seem to go to the championship winning teams coach if you read the thread back.
We prefer the coaches award to Wigan and Cas coming to our ground next year! Tell that grumpy sod you have up there to be more communicative or he will achieve nothing in his career.
