Personally I prefer Whitehaven to Workington despite having family links to the latter. Swinton isn't great but frankly who cares? They have a good team and gates in the hundreds. It's quite adequate for that. Why bankrupt teams demanding ground facilities they will never need.

A question many have asked of the people that allegedly administer our game. I get the impression they think that big stadia are the way to make us a 'big' sport. Because obviously swathes of empty seats makes a great impression on TV.

Won't be a problem for us then - seeing as we hardly have any seats in the first place! icon_biggrin.gif

Been down to trailfinders for a look see today, will be interesting to see how they set up for people paying to get in, then again I am sure ealing have something in place.
Yes it's plastic but the playing surface looks bloody good, widnes seemed shabby in comparison.
Thought the hay cart seats looked quite funny, not quite super league.
Getting to the ground not too bad, West ealing about 10 mins walk didn't look at other stations,b there us one closer though I think.
Let's see how we get on eh!

Unfortunately I think West Ealing station is also closed on Sundays.

All the surrounding railway stations are closed on Sundays. That's South Greenford, Castle Bar Park, Drayton Green, Hanwell and West Ealing. Ealing Broardway is the closest station which is 2 miles away.

Life is pretty simple: You do stuff. Most fails. Some works. You do more of what works.:cartoons/WB24.gif

Admittedly the club create the perfect environment for negatives about getting to a game. But is there any club anywhere that has so many people that appear to have any excuse to make out they cannot make it to a game.

When we played at the Stoop we had "home" games in Gillingham. The travel time from the Stoop to Gillingham was the same as that from St Helens to Hull!
We may be down to the hard hard core but don't doubt our willingness to travel to games!
Whatever you feel about this move and the Broncos over the last 5 years+, pick up your bowler hat and turn up! We WILL make a difference.

Are a substantial number of Leeds fans doing three or four hour round trips to get to games?

The Hive has pretty good transport links.

Whereas the aptly named Trailfinders doesn't.

Sarf Essex, wherever we play then someone is going to have the problem of travel, when we played in East London at Charlton, it used to take me an hour to get to London then 2 hours across town, but there are ways and means. I feel for the guys that come from medway etc, but come on let's be honest it's not outer siberia.
