| The well documented reason he left was that he had the chance to own the club he has supported man and boy . Rules state that he is not allowed to be owner of two clubs although he was given dispensation to keep hold of Quinns RL until a suitable buyer was found .
Never said anything about what IL did for Quinns RL only that he is a shrewd businessman as his tenure at Wigan amongst his other ventures have proven . The one thing he would not do in my humble opinion is throw money at a project without a sound business plan . Pretty sure he will have had failures in his Business life but i am sure the successes will outnumber the failures.
Regards , EW

| Should we as a group of Broncos fans, go along to this game to support Catalans?! We could go along in Broncos shirts with some sort of a French theme fancy dress!

| Not a bad idea. We could all wear our broncos shirts and have French style moustaches.
I remember he Wigan fans supporting Catalan at Magic weekend in Cardiff, so it would be nice to pay them back.
I Cannot stand Wigan either.

| I wouldn't go if a chauffeur driven limo tuned up at the house to take me.
I didn't shop in JJB Sports for 20+ years when Whelan owned The Pies. In a small way I hoped I contributed to JJB's demise. Perverse, call it what you will.
Gits......

| Here here. If we want to promote the game to blue chips it should be with a TEST team, not a former pit village on the outskirts of Horwich

| Wigan v Catalan - Saturday 5 September 3pm New Den
London Bees v Watford Ladies Sunday 6 September 2pm Hive
London Broncos v Workington Sunday 6 September 3pm Hive
Think I would prefer to be a warm up act at the New Den than sharing the pitch with the Womens SL at the Hive (although might liven things up).
We are used to being kept in the dark but its only a month away now so should be fair to the Town fans and let them know there is something dodgy about this fixture.

IIRC the clash of the fixtures on 6/9 was raised by an individual on twitter and the Club responded that they were looking
into the matter. Doesnt affect me as such as working that weekend. Had I not been it would have been The New Den for me.

| Perhaps we should leaflet the neutral fans at the Wigan game at The Den. Might drum up a few fans, though probably not.
Better to do it at The International at The Olympic Park.
At The Den Just give don't give flyers to the Where's Wally impersonators .

Better?
November 5th 2011 we leafleted the 4 Nations game at Wembley as well as taking an advert in the match-day programme and on the screens. It was to announce our return to the Name London Broncos 3 months later and resulted in a 19% drop in attendances in 2012 as opposed to our last season as Harlequins Rugby League. Oh...let's not forget the "Black Cabs"......between them and the activity at Wembley we blew the majority (if not all) the marketing budget for 2012 some 3 months before the season started and ended up with club record lows for the visit of every side in SL.
I'd suggest keeping your powder dry when it comes to promoting the Broncos at our new home. It's highly unlikely that your floating Wigan/Northern RL fan or ANZAC (that will be the #1 target for Wigan) will be interested in watching 2nd tier RL on a track more suited to Hammersmith Hills Hoists v West London Chargers (well done the chargers BTW.....defeated the bar staff at the weekend!)
