The current capacity is 5500 which is capped to 5100, after the changes the capacity will be nearer 6000 but still capped to 5100. If the cap became an issue then an application with impact assessment reports would need to be made.

The canopy at the rear of the west stand is complete but it is clearly doubles up as the supports for adding the first floor of the rear extension (It is far too solid and has way too many wires to be just a simple canopy). This was put in during the fortnight mid December when we had no home games. After New years day we have no home games for 24 days so my guess is more work will take place then.

I notice the Bronco web site now has their offices as located at the Hive. Not sure where in the Hive as there was nothing visible last weekend.

Not sure that any of the plans suggested lengthening of the pitch for rugby league. So same short pitch for the future.

Really? The price of a match ticket is more important to you than the cost of a 12,000 mile flight?

I claim my flights back against the company....tickets to a game are only 50% redeemable.

You are correct SR, the pitch will certainly be short for this season.
All of the decisions that have been approved are from plans submitted two years ago and so long before there was a suggestion of Broncos coming. He has been waiting for all the previous planning issues to be resolved before submitting new ones.

It will be interesting to see what he applies for next. I have been told that it will be an extended West stand, new north stand behind the North terrace and changes to the East stand to extend towards the car park and put a decent roof in place for the seats on that side.
