| Quote: JEAN CAPDOUZE "You think he wants to be up against Scott Dureau and Leon Pryce in front of 82,000 screaming fans?
He seems to think big, so who knows, he has nerves of steel, kicking winning goals at the end of gig matches, SOO and Grand Final winner. I doubt much will phase him!

| Does anyone have an idea as to how long a visa etc. takes? I'm presuming he'll be here for the cup 1/4 but has Miller been allowed across to play for Hull yet?

I would of thought we would have applied for the Visa prior to today's announcement so hopefully it won't be too long.

| while I'm surprised at some ambition being shown by the club and I'm excited (in relative terms) that we might get a couple more wins this season on the back of this signing...
have said it before and elsewhere, wasn't franchising meant to stop this sort of thing? by all accounts we have a capable home-grown SH in Mike Bishay who's starting to make the step up into SL. is it any good for rugby league and ultimately for this club to have another aussie make a brief stop over to claim playing time ahead of him?
IF the club has any future then players like Bishay surely represent that future, and seeing as the season is done barring a miracle in the cup isn't this the time to dish playing time out to the youth for them to gain experience for future campaigns? I know I'd rather see us go down with a bunch of young London lads (who are playing for their future careers) giving a bit of effort than journeyman aussies half-dly earning their big pay-checks. to me, this move would signal that the club perhaps don't plan on having a future outside of a speculative crack at the cup.

| The club has wisely brought Bishay through steadily - too many young players at London have been ruined by over-exposure when they're not ready. If you lose your best player mid-season and a world class replacement comes available, why wouldn't you do it?
I'm excited by the young crop on its way, but I think its right that some brakes are applied. To be honest when we played Cas the other week the Under 20s had more shape in defence than the first team!!

Witt out for Bishay. At least he will try. Bishay has been called a promising young player and another small one. No doubt he will add nicely to the number of young players who get run over each week in a broncos shirt.
Even the bigger clubs with a better class of youngsters than us like Saints and Wigan are vulnerable when they play too many youngsters at one time. This has a lot to do with Saints current predicament in SL.

| Everybody's missed the BIG question: Will his scrum cap be two-tone blue or red/yellow/... ?
BTW, has anyone put in a bid for Gower's Challenge Cup shirt?

| Is Soward that good that he can revitalise London single handed? Is he better than Gower?
Can he make the laziest least aggressive pack anywhere in rugby start going forward?
As for Bishay, I wish him well, but you've only got to look at his size compared to youngsters like George Williams at Wigan to start worrying.
Sorry to be negative, but I sense a bit of straw clutching going on...

| Soward on form is brilliant. Rated the fastest man in NRL at one stage. Holds record at St George of most points in a season. He is good enough, but will he catch the London disease?

| I f*cking love Jamie Soward - my favourite player in the NRL, and on his day as good as anyone.

No he can't do it alone. iF Gower couldnt he hasn't got a hope in He**. We probably need Gowere here to motivate him. Anyway the fans have said we should get someone in now Gower has gone so here he is!

| If we had money to spend why didn't we address some of the more obvious weaknesses ??
