Really pleasing performance. That's the first game this season IMO where our pack has dominated a game, giving Gower and Witt the platform they need to be successful.

I thought we might wobble after half time, but we settled things down and played percentage rugby. The Dixon try was made by Melling then Gower. A pleasure to see Howell back as well, he really adds balance to the right hand side and tackled like a demon all game. Grady also caught my eye at second row, put an excellent shift in.

Consistency is key - can we play like this more often please?

Two QF appearances in a row? Happy.

Well played Broncos. A great win for you lads and it shows that you can do it when the team put their mind to it. Hope you get a favourable draw in the next round.

I think it was whoever hit Gower after he kicked. It looked legal to me but it really galvanised the team and us in the stand

That would be Scruton, he shoulder charged Gower late, he wasn't committed to hitting Gower, but he followed through and took him out. The same thing has happened to Gower numerous times this season and last. Should of been our penalty. But it did force our players to play good rugby.

I have to say last night was the first time I had clapped Kaufusi off the field when being subbed this season, as for me he should be doing a lot better than he has shown us on average.
Wheeldon was just immense when he came on the field, was offloading as well as making many metres on contact. Byrant had a solid game, as did Olsi, but Wheeldon and Kaufusi really laid down the platform for Gower and Witt to play. I was also impressed with Grady, even with my saying I'd be happy to see him dropped for this game, clearly he shouldn't play in the centres, as he seems incapable of tackling 1v1. But our centres and wings on both sides of the field last night played well in defence and in attack, they made contact with the attacking player and didn't just drop off like usual.

So their were some positives out there.

I could tell Fusi would have a good game they way he was hitting the tackle bag before the game. The other guy nearly dropped it with the impact of his hit!

Ditto! For all his faults/general laziness, when he's fired up and up for it he's probably one of the better impact forwards in SL. Of course though it's frustrating that he can't put in an effort like that every week
