Would it be worth when they get back, Powell ringing Dewsbury and telling the they can have the win, just to save them forking out on transport for their players and staff.

Powell, like his team, is indefensible now

Unless Hughes is broke there is no good reason as to why the Towel can't be put to use in a role more suited to his talents, or remove him from the club altogether citing poor performance for his dismissal.

I can only think that DH is sentimental about the Towel or he hasn't got the money to pay him off. Maybe we should do a Bradford and start a collection.

Is Powell that bad of a coach that a new face would be able to turn us into a 'decent' team??

A lot of people, myself included were optimistic at the start of the season, but now statistically we have one of the worst sides in our history.

Apart from O'Callaghan and perhaps Dixon, the players in our 17 today are more than good enough to be turning out for side challenging for the last couple of playoff spots.
