Troll ? Really ? I don’t think so. It was serious question.
Quote: Torbreck "Luke Dorn is a poacher...he wears a poachers hat.....
Dorny is a strike player and has always been "suspect" in defense. I have no idea where PC Plum has been for the last few years if he thinks it's anything new.......and as has been pointed out, 13 tries in a crap team shows his value to the team,..'"
I think I would be regarded as a regular, and yes, I have seen the two sides of Dorn.
He used to be a poacher. He used to be our only strike player. Now we have several – Robertson, Colborn, Sarginson, Witt and hopefully O’Callaghan, Dixon and Caro. Why carry Dorn for sentimental reasons, blood Dixon or move Robertson at full back ?
It’s a shame we can’t see a stat that shows how many tries the opposition score directly from a players mistake / missed tackle.
Quote: Torbreck "I want to see Luke Dorn on the team sheet, but not in the full back position. He's a half back, but with Witt, Gower and Sarginson in the squad, maybe the best place to play Dorn is loose forward.'"
Finally, an ally !!!! He should be a strike player coming from the bench.
I think the overall view is Dorn is an excellent, valuable player who should be playing full back for the Broncos week in week out. I guess I have to bow to the greater expertise and knowledge out in Broncos forum land.
