Quote: gutterfax "So, you think it is entirely plausable for the club to go from the stumbling mess it has been recently to a stadium of their own.
Before you try to build a stadium for 15,000 fans....why not try and find the fans first? Just a thought........
1. The name change should have been complete by September 1st. If the club are waiting for a sponsor, then they should have still gone a head with the Broncos.....and the shirt design...and the ST prices......
2. Marketing at Wembley would be a waste of time and money.....we are not looking to attract fans from anywhere other than west London (or shouldn't be IMO)
3. Any marketing Plan should have been put together during the decision to change names.....it should have been a key element/reason for the name change.
I am 100% behind the club and the management in their campaign to attract more fans and attention to the club......I just dispair at times at the niavety displayed over and over again. Let's hope the massive marketing push isn't to take place a week before the season starts.......or worse still, even later than that.
The shirt design is with the RFL to be signed off on according to Stevo on Boots n All yesterday, so if that is true then the club is at least taking baby steps forwards rather than the strides backwards over recent years. Hopefully more baby steps are made over the next week, but steps in the right direction would be welcome too.
