Sunday 27 June 2010 is rlArmed Forces Dayrl so why not get the whole of the professional RL community via the RFL involved that weekend asking home clubs to provide tickets at discounted rates to service personnel, having bucket collections with donations going to service charities and local communities involved on the militarys special day to say thanks to them for their service to our country??

The thought of listening to moaning minnies like you is far more sickening than the last three months worth of poor performances on the pitch. You contribute nothing, do nothing positive, and take any relative success for granted whilst criticising anything that isn't perfect. If you were a Saints or Leeds fan you'd still find something to gripe about rather than acknowledging any success.

He doesn't have to put up with the sun shining in his eyes though. Unless he has a very odd office arrangement at home.

If he were a fan of those clubs he and SB would have been banned long long ago.

I can handle the club not listening to what I have to say, but having a pair of old codgers like these two, who are so far removed from reality it is painful, hijack the thread is almost too much to stand.

Back on topic.

Yes, 2009 is well forgotten, but TRUE fans of Rugby League in the South East will now be looking forward to the 2010 season, celebrating 30yrs of our current existance (by giving cash and time to arrange for a banner etc...) and hoping that whatever caused the massive slump in form this year has been dealt with. They will also be thankful that we have a great stadium to watch games in, great after match entertainment and what looks like the most stable and capable back office team in place for years. We have a great crop of youngsters coming through and I have no doubt at all that in 5 years time, we will see a Harlequins Rugby League team take the field with LMS as Skipper and 10 or more cockneys on the pitch with a couple of really big star names...and a crowd average of 7,500+ ......keep the faith.

GF- Hopefully, although I suspect its a somewhat optimistic view. That said they have got to be the long term goals for the club.

Banned for being an objectional tw@ that has a real chip on his shoulder over events between the RFU and the RFL, that is all water under the bridge.
For wanting a return to the days when we overpaid under achieving australians (with a few exceptions)
For wanting a return to boom or bust activity.
For feeling the need to offer an opinion on these boards when you freely admit to not attending games any more.
For wanting a rented ground with walls for toilets and warm beer on offer But most importantly...I return to the first part of reason 1....you are a tw@.

Yes, we haven't set the world on fire in 4 years at Quins, but neither did we in the previous 10 years either. 2 play-off hammerings and an embarassing CC final.........and the same average crowds between 2000-2005......yeah,.....right...The Good Old Days
