| BMcD post Warrington:
"It was a tough game for both teams to focus but we were both committed and there was some entertainment out there.
"It was a good game to blood some youngsters but it was a disappointing end to the season with only one win in 12.
"I've done some soul searching in recent weeks but am already planning for next year to start fixing things up. I am excited about the pre-season."

Now that is funny
We may have a bored....but as for an active Board.
Gerry Bouman....a fervant Reading FC fan and a good friend of David Hughes IIRC.
Paul Wright.....is in charge of finance and an Executive Director who joined at the request of IL and was/is FD of Workspace.
I would suspect any decisions made will be made by DH, although I don't expect anything other than Mac in charge next year.

| After the debacle that was the game agin Cas, I spoke to Terry Matterson and asked him to come back and coach us.
He laughed, then said No - he(B Mc)is a good coach and a 'neat ' guy. How can the ones on the side of management/coaching have these opinions if the results are not on the field? David Hughes said the question must be asked, why only 1 win from the last 11 (As it was at the time) but he didn't seem to be in a hurry to ask it.

Terry Matterson was a great player and is becoming a great coach. It looks as if David Hughes would rather the club finish bottom than have to sack a coach.

If David Hughes REALLY thinks this then he's as much a part of the problem as Mac!!
IF (and its a big if) the club does decide to show Brian the door Terry Matterson was the first UK based name to enter my head as a replacement. Still think we need a Nathan Brown type looking to make a name for himself to come in.

Why would Terry Matterson want to come to London and start over again after he's done a good job of turning Cas' fortunes around and they are a team on the up?

Granted that Terry Matterson would be being diplomatic here, there does seem to be an opinion among the other coaches that BM's OK, which would indicate that perhaps our problems lie elsewhere. I'm reminded of Gary Hetherington's comment during Leeds' horror run under Dean Lance some years ago that there was a problem at the club, but it wasn't to do with the coaching staff. Conspiracy theorists can make what they want of that.

Dunno, could we offer him a big bag of cash? Any worries about Cas franchise and their stadium plans? Weren't they warned by the RFL? I know we have franchise worries of our own (a few thousand fans to be found for a kick off!) , just voicing my opinion that in an ideal world, and looking at the job he's done at Cas, I think he could do a good job for us.

| Jon Sharp is now available. Can't see McD quitting though. He'll carry on despite admitting to being clueless.

I can't think of many coaches worse than McDermott, but you've just named one.
