nah....
I don't want to talk
About the things we've gone through
Though it's hurting me
Now it's history
I've played all my cards
And that's what you've done too
Nothing more to say
No more ace to play
The winner takes it all

| I reckon the Toronto fans quite fancy being in SL.
Be interested to see if they still keep turning up if they don’t get promoted, or after a couple of spankings in SL

| Northernbloke,I didn't know you referee but as this is one of the most important games of the year,I know these touchjudges have to officiate somewhere but do you think it is a little odd giving them this game seeing as they are the newest touchjudges?

| They are not the newest touch judges! They are the newest guys to become full time Match Officials.
Actually from what I know about the guys that’s a pretty strong team.
It’s the only game out of the 3 that has 3 full time officials appointed

| Wonder if sky are paying for extra cameras to be there with who ever it is that normally televises the games.
Pretty sure for the VR they have to provide a certain number of camera angles.

| The RFL have put the real A team on to referee the MPG. What is for sure is that they will be under scrutiny, they will need to be at their best.

| Broncos need to go into this game with the same approach they did with the Toulouse game, start well, don’t give away early points.
If they have a good first 20 minutes they have a decent chance, go a couple of scores down early on and it will not be good.
In theory Toronto have the greater expectation so more pressure.
Just hope Dixon gets a good first five minutes as well, in big games in the past he has had nightmares, if he starts well he plays well, a poor start for him and his whole game is poor.

Why are you so pedantic you know exactly what Gardner was saying.

Not sure about this. Biggest game in ages was last week's. Dixon did fine despite the dodgy floodlights which I assume made catching the high ball more tricky. Which big games are you thinking of ?

| I don't agree on Dixon, a lot of games he makes mistakes in the first half and then a great second half. I refer you to the key Featherstone match, the Widnes match and the Leeds game. Perhaps northernbloke is thinking of the Challenge Cup with Hull KR of which there is a painful Kieran Dixon highlight reel available on YouTube.
He's a mecurial player that comes up with a special play every game. Sometimes I think he is prone to a little bit of self-sabotage, almost as if he needs to dig his way out of a ditch!
I agree he was great under the high ball against Halifax. Praying he grabs one or two trademark interceptions on Sunday!

| Wantawin, what gardener said suggested these were 2 new touch judges, what’s pedantic about telling him actually they are v experienced grade 1 touch judges just newest ranks to join full time?
When Dixon came back from KR, what happened? His first game back was a mare, he ended up getting dropped, his confidence was shot!
I stick by it, if he starts well, takes his first high ball cleanly he generally goes on to have a good game.
If he fluffs his first one as stated he is prone to self sabotage and struggles.
Am not saying he is not a good player, merely his confidence can go very quickly.
