| I certainly thinkl target every local school with free tickets etc - get Buck and dusty round to all the infants and juniors, get loads to do - face paintinge etc. try and do a beer promotion - anything to get people in. If we lose this game we can switch ther lights off when we leave........................
But if we get a couple of thoudsand, win by 50 points and people have a good day out we might be able to bulid....................

Half of zero is zero. Is there something contractual in there saying that we have to give them money, their own fans can purchase tickets through their club and that can go direct to their club.

It is contractual, and the Rams would have to agree the gate price, which is fair enough.

What if you made them an offer they couldn't refuse, after all what is half of a low gate minus costs. Surely better to offer them a higher figure then they would get, and get the ground full of locals.

I agree, but they would have to agree in advance, RFL rules.

| We might even make it on to the BBC in 'the most likely SuperLeague side to go out to lower league opposition' category.
Only 3 rungs of the laddder away now.

| sub 1,500 gate = no gate money to share after costs.......and does anyone reckon we'll see a bumper gate? ST Holders get in for free.......how many casual supporters do you believe will roll up?

no I am off to Jersey today, and I will gladly miss the game on Sat (though I will watch it from behind the hotel settee with a strong drink!)

| Slightly off mark, but the game will have to be a Friday night or Sunday Afternoon, as Quins union are at home on the saturday, so thats gonna hit the crowds again, the longer we leave to arrange, the quicker all the cheaper train tickets disappear etc, so poor old Dewsbury fans suffer again.
how about a Thursday night, if its gonna be less than a 1'000, it can be anytime, i suppose, we just need to fulfill the game and move on etc,

| The game will be 2pm on the Sunday, according to the Dewsbury site (Why the hell are all our Sunday games 2pm? Surely 3pm would be preferable in line with most RL clubs!).
Anyway, doubt there'll be many there although 1500 turned up for the game against Barrow and 3900 for the Toulouse game (that was 2006 when we were still reasonably optimistic of Quins being successful).
Anyone remember the bouncy Barrow ladies? They were a handful... terrorised poor old Chris Warren
He seemed visibly shaken in the pub afterwards.

| Just been confirmed via email from the club, that the game will be on Sunday 15th April @2pm.
However it is an all pay match - even for ST holders. Advance tickets are £10 Adults and £1 Kids! - I think this may affect the attendance somewhat!
