Black Backgrounds/Zoot.gif Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

| Looks like bye-bye to the top four, which given that we would appear not to have a ground for next season yet isn't a bad thing. Don't forget that promotion ISN'T automatic, but is dependent on clubs meeting 'certain conditions'. The cynic in me tends to read that as 'if you're not Bradford or Leigh, forget it!'.

| I have always had a like for Fax, but a lot of there fans were out of order, all the moans, team with no fans, moan, moan, moan, short memories folks, I was at the Shay loads of years ago for the game the buckets were out to pay the VAT man (or has that been forgotten in the new GLORY DAYS), it only took most of them 70 mins to be positive and give a song for a Mr Danny Jones, tho, still meet some very good Fax fans, remember, the few who did travel got home at 2am, tough being a London fan, tho, where was the rest of the Fax massive, on there game on the road, less than 15 miles from home ??????

Then Sheffield Eagles may as not well bother, as their new ground when built will be max of 5,000 I read.

| I must admit, I am really happy with the way the club is taking shape. Some very good young home grown players. a good coach, the makings of a team ready to push for the top 4, LBSA doing some good work. We are starting to feel like a club again. BUT, the ground situation does worry me. If we end up somewhere like Ealing it would be very bad. We need to look long term (super league). whether we make it or not that is what we need to aspire to. We need to be looking at a better/more permanent grounds.

Good for you beg hasp with a team shaping up to maybe challenge for a place in the top 4 of a division that we are only one of 3 full time squads......I on the other hand will lament the state of the club I have followed for 13+ years and who are nothing at all like "a club", but more like a clique.
5th at best this year, behind 2 part time squads and as you correctly point out, homeless for 2016 as it stands.
In true Facebook mode....
This time 10 years ago we were heading for 6th and a play-off game and had an average of 4k
This time 5 years ago we were heading for 7th and had an average of 3,300
This time 2 years ago we were looking at a Challenge Cup semi-final and we had 2,500 fans
Forgive me for not getting too excited about 5th in the 2nd tier with 650 fans and nowhere to call home

| Got to agree about some of their fans. Moan, Moan, Moan. Felt sorry for them having to travel thirteen miles to the game.
It was good for them to get for a change.
No sympathy here.

| Er don't know who you were listening to but most Fax fans were okay about going to Keighley although it was our 6th game on the road! Our biggest gripe was it was at Saturday teatime not Sunday afternoon, we have never turned out for a Saturday teatime game that's why the crowd was not as big as it would have been if it had been on the Sunday.
Well done to the 18 that I counted London fans for making it, must have seemed a long journey home after such a beating, we were well up for it and deserved to win against a full time team as well!

Plenty of keighley fans there plus the Broncos so am guessing only 3/400 Halifax could be bothered? Shadow of the 80s Halifax which is a shame. Is it fair to say the likes of your Aussies and former SL players have a real job outside rugby?

| We are part time, that would suggest that most of our players have jobs, yes.
Its hard been a fan in the lower leagues seeing no way to progress for a number of years and seeing teams in SL struggle year after year while burning through money that the RFL throws at them. Its only this year now we have some sort of promotion chance are we seeing one or two crowds pick up but even then a lot of it will be down to the bumper gate that Bradford bring. Lets see how London are doing after 4 or 5 years in this league then your fans maybe more equipped to judge.
As for the game it turned out to be a lot easier than I thought it would be, I expected a tight contest but we simply blew London off the park. Even a heavy penalty count in their favour didnt really help them that much and it were the part time team that finished the game stronger. I thought London had a good chance of going the rest of the year unbeaten but now the dewsbury and Sheffield games look really tough and if teams keep up the form they are in then that last game will have a big bearing on if Fax finish 3rd or 4th so we might be asking you for a favour.

| Out of interest how many where on the coach ? because of the stupid departure and more so the drop off point wondered if many used it. I emailed the club to ask if any chance of a more central drop off point after Bushey even if we chipped in a few quid for the driver but they wouldn't budge so curious if many where on it.

| Only Ten on the coach,
The pick up point was just madness, the coach came from Gillingham, kent, around the M25 to Bushey,
Edgware or Brent Cross or Redbridge would have been easier, as directly at ends of tube lines, mega near motorways starts for easy get away etc.
WHO EVER planned this was clueless, cost's to get to bushey day return for all £16.00, nice free coach and no access to it, you could not even make it up

| Said all that to the club but they wouldn't be flexible at all, told em they would be lucky if half full , then they said only a few seats left , ha ha , it was a shame cos it was a good opportunity to get a good few of us up there but they made it virtually impossible.

| Well Bradford crashed and burned against Fev tonight. Four games left and if we won all four it would put us on 30 points. As Hendo has already pointed out the loss against Fax, leaves us in the hands of other teams results. If nothing else need to win all fourjust for confidence.
