Read it and also lots of other stuff by Tony Collins including "A social history of English Rugby Union" which shows all the isms of that code - classism, racism, sexism you name it. It actually made me feel sad for the average union follower who wouldn't have a clue about such things or the origin of our great game.
I could understand where you are coming from 25 years ago Rupe but I think these days we have to move forward. If you care about our great game personally I would put that behind me, come and support the game (if not the team because of the name) and grow it down south so we can get bigger and better and expose kick and clap for what it is.
