Doesn’t look great does it? Sad that the last game was a complete and utter pasting away from home. I suppose AFC know we’ve pulled the plug?

| Mature passing on of the baton can only really occur if there is someone else to accept the baton, I suspect Mr Hughes has been looking for someone to do that for a number if years. Eventually everyone has a limit.
I don't think london are alone though! What happens to giants if Ken Davy does not prop them up.
They certainly don't get gate numbers
Catalans and BG not sure how they are set up if he stops selling saucisse in enough numbers to earns the euros.
As for DH love him or hate him he kept the club afloat when no one else was there.

Well at least here is an opportunity for some light relief:
Potential candidates:
Ernie Clay? No he's dead
Barry Maranta? Has the money but why try again?
Richard Branson? No tax exile.
Ross Strudwick? Dear lord no.
Lamb & Lawton? Sorry boys, not enough money.
The Bartrams? OMG they might reinstate my Life Membership.
Feel free to add more sensible suggestions to this list......

True.
Shame that pretty much every decision he made took the club backwards though - compared to how it was when he took over.

| I have no inside info but wouldn't totally rule out the Lenegan family being involved, even if it's indirectly by pulling together a consortium.
Ian kept a close eye on London whilst at Wigan and was certainly involved in trying to pull a consortium together at one point - not involving him as he was still at Wigan but by facilitating it.
I suspect he wouldn't want day to day involvement ( and quite possibly no financial involvement) but also suspect he may see if he can do anything to help ensure the club survives by helping behind the scenes.

| You could argue that the 2 biggest blows to befall the club in recent years had nothing to do with Hughes.
Wigan to come up for sale, something Lenegan was always going to be interested in.
Quins Bloodgate, losing us the support of their Chairman & CEO.

That’s not to let him off the hook for some of his subsequent failures though, is it?

| Genuine question
At what point does this situation become existential? Presumably at some point the RFL will require some sort of guarantee that the club can complete next years fixtures? Does anyone know?

Maybe Hughes has lost us some more IMG grading points under the Financial heading. Lack of ground may be a concern too.

Lack of team, lack of comms also. No points on offer but what happens to the work with the juniors pathway, one assumes with no one footing the bill that withers on the vine or disappears. Reserve team? In or out. If we have no money I suspect out. Basically I think it’s done.

Absolutely not, he has ignored just about every bit of advice he has been given with disastrous effect as we now see.

I guess that also depends where IMG decide to place London. The gradings are due soon. There has to be an argument the previous grading may drop. Category C in League 1 is looking feasible. That would get headlines, IMG's London strategy going as badly as possible.
