No it doesnt but nor should it mean that the rest of the league? they are still reasonably supported (massively by our standards) and have a very strong track record in Superleague. Will we get a better replacemenrt? no. Apart from Leeds/Wigan and perhaps Warrington is suspect every other SL club is running on a knife edge. the economics of the game dont add up, if sky pulled the plug then the league would fold period, would have to go back to part time etc.
sad fact. but then most professional sport seems to be the same with a few exceptions usually bankrolled by a few wealthy individuals?

Obvious and completely irrelevant.

Not really, its a main point that is being dragged up frequently like it is some sort of justification for a bail out. Glad you agree it is irrelevant however.

While you are quite correct , a long historical presence tends to be what ultimatly saves clubs in this position , the London club however doesn't have that to fall back on

What's irrelevant is your denial of a "divine right". Nobody on here has suggested invoking the Almighty in aid of the Bulls. So far from being a "main point", it's not a point made by anybody at all.

| it would seem it's not just RL on financial shaky ground, the Rah Rah boys are having a spot of bother themselves. Wasps say they only have enough money to see out the season, after that it's administration unless someone comes and buys them

| Someone will buy Wasps though.
One answer to the financial problems in league; get rid of all the over-paid third rate Aussies and make the clubs play the youngsters from their Academies and the decent players from the Championship.
Pathetic that we've got 60 million people in these islands and we can't come up with 400 super league players.

The answer is to stop letting morons run our clubs (which are largely independent businesses). If you budget for making finals and winning silverware you're prob gonna go bust.

If the game had been expanded 100 years ago we would have more players than the aussies now and the game would probably be strong in Wales and Ireland and maybe worldwide. Soccer may still be the No.1 sport but we'd be a close no 2 i reckon.

| There are plenty of owners of rugby league clubs and in the North as well that just do not seem to have a clue! it is unbelievable that chairmen of successful clubs do not even attend Super League Chairman meetings were voting takes place to run the game, so many now want to reduce the number of club in Super League as they feel there will be more Sky money to share, do they seriously think Sky will pay the same monies for a 12 team league?
Chairmen of clubs complain in the public and media about the Stobart deal, the problem is some of them did not even attend the meeting to vote about the offer. So many fans felt that the deal was good for the game, I'm am still not sure how? I think you get a Blue Peter badge if you ever spot a branded lorry, but what does the branding mean to many who do see the trucks around the country, it could be for union many would no different, we could have gone with Betfair and paid for some trucks to be branded! When you look at the money paid for the sponsorship of the Union Premiership we look a joke.
The whole game not just our club is in a total mess, the situation at Bradford is a joke when they were so successful for so many years off the pitch, were did the money go? not on the ground! all that is happening now as happens with so many RL clubs is sticking plaster! a short term fix, the £1 million if raised will be gone in days and they still have to survive!
Those at the top in the RFL are clearly not doing a good job and so many club chairmen do not seem to have a real clue! is there any hope?
