You fear for the future if London are a feeder team for shabby Northern towns like St Helens. The whole point of London is that it adds glitz and style and sophistication, and until that happens the relevance of a London presence in SL is questionable. Does Nigel Wood really understand this ? He seems more concerned about Halifax and Featherstone who will add not one jot of credibility to the game's national profile.
We all wish Hughes would just go, and we can look for a savvy owner like McManus or Lenagan.

I think Cook has agread to join Cas for next season, but having said that there were also strong rumours going around that we were signing Vea too. So I think at this stage it could all just bre rumours on all fronts. |

Tony Pelo won't be playing for anyone next weekend, he's banned for one game. He didn't shine for Skolars last weekend but frankly it would be unfair to judge anyone on that match.
Erjon looked a little ring rusty but showed no sign the injury will impact him long term, likewise Will Lovell

Pelo is a real work horse, he'll do well anywhere.
Cox apparently is back from injury this week. But i still think he's a season off of top flight.
The rumour around him is Championship next year. |
