| I'm really amazed how you guys are so passionate about the club... I really do hope things work out. Its never good to see any club struggle
(but with all the dramas you guys are going through I have a real appreciation about the club and the loyal die hard supporters... Its becoming a dream of my mine to go to London and watch the broncos play)

It's not about us thinking of alternatives, it's about being realistic.
A fan base our size could not sustain owning a SL team.

Quite. Wishful thinking, and that kind of thinking makes me cry!

So there is no growth or opportunity for growth in the fan base, and we are constrained by our current limitations?

| Crowds would grow with a winning team, and as we know the opposite also applies.

Not necessarily.......but if so, only by a small % as has happened in the past. A mid table team might see a climb to the heady heights of 3,000...a trophy winning team maybe 5,000....but it's pointless discussing fan numbers with the current chimp in charge

I have been suggesting ways to build a successful club for over 11 years mate.......the fact that they dismissed them might be one of the reasons they're in the crapper now......or maybe not. Either way, the only solution is for dh to hand back the licence forcing the rfl to bale us out......a la Bradford.

| Why do you think the RFL would be "forced" to bail Broncos out ? If DH simply handed the licence in to Red Hall it would help the RFL in next years culling exercise. They would bite his hand off IMO. Bradford were saved because the game cannot afford to loose 8 to 10 thousand paying spectators.

Wakefield is not looking much better! and perhaps your own club, the RFL saved Bradford and have now set a precedent, they can't just cherry pick!

| Bit of a problem with timing here; disappearing in the close season won't cause too many problems for the RFL, at least not compared to ceasing trading 4 or 5 games into the season, with the subsequent threat of fixture chaos, points deductions, and greater media interest. Not that I want to cause trouble...

They can, they always have.
The RFL could afford to buy Odsal. Bradford can afford to pay the rent on their own. That made it viable.
Had Bradford property values been higher then the RFL couldn't afford it. Or if Bradford weren't a relatively well supported side then they couldn't pay the rent. In which case the RFL would have shrugged their shoulders.

Sadly you are right! Glad that you said "relatively well supported" like many clubs their attendances have seriously dropped!
The RFL have very little money now, it's not possible when you can't bring in big major financial sponsors, but so many supporters, bury their heads in the sand!
