The whole issue with the merch this year for me was the quality in general. I bought a home shirt and it's fine, but not massively impressive, especially given the wait time. I thought the away shirt was marginally better. I'm not saying we need to go into the realms of Hull FC/Castore/50 quid hoodies, however some items of better quality and design wouldn't go amiss.

So now we know new shirts before Christmas was but a fleeting hope. Still a good trick to get the email sent from the bloke who played Henry Hook in Zulu despite dying in 2005. That's the sort of Magic we need to stay in Super League. Next a reincarnation of Marty McLindon please.

Received a voucher today for 2 shirts I bought online .it said either redeem in the club shop or post voucher back with name/address. Can't the club just post them out when they're in.

The idea is that if you have bought a shirt as a gift for Christmas , you can give the recipient the voucher.

Remind me. Did we not pay P+P in which case club will need to post to me rather than we faffing about sending them my postal details again. I suspect Victor is right though that this is a way of be8ng able to give people a present in the form of voucher as shirts aren’t ready. Me I’d prefer the shirts were ready for Christmas but hey Ho the squad doesn’t look ready so why would the shirts be.

To be fair BT the shirts are normally ready long before the squad is complete. Were we not 3/4 of the way through the season before we signed Whare & Norman.

So the club website seems to have had a little bit of an update. Some new sponsor logos on the landing pages and different layouts for some of the different sections. All looks a bit work in progress but gives a hint as to who might be on the shirts next season.
